"I don't know what I am, why I have to suffer through this, or how I became this way."

Looking at the report handed to her, Rina's expression remained unamused. The easiest capture target to approach is the one that appears most commonly and is not too prideful as a noble.
So, the most optimal option to mess with is the knight capture target. They are quite fun to mess with...and isn't as common or complicated as princes or heirs. Rina made a thinking pose as she thought about the information.
"Though...I've heard the knight this time is quite guarded. If I try to approach him like they do I'd end up in that role." She was gradually getting impatient with her options. 'He reminds me of a certain handsome polar bear knight captain...'

Sitting up, Rina paced around in a circle for a little until she turned around. The piercing eyes of someone she didn't know, she hates being stared at for too long, especially by someone she doesn't even know.
A thought began to form. A smirk appeared on her face briefly before she headed towards the door, closing it behind her when she reached it.

"Hnng....haaahaaa...." Moans escaped his lips. His face flushed with pleasure, he loved this about her. How she never spared him when this happened, or how she always expressed what she thought of him by simply looking at him with those beautiful blood colored eyes of her's.
"Should I try the other foot next?" She asked in a bored tone as if not taking note of the ambiguous sounds the light blue haired teenager made. Rina used his back as a place to rest her feet every time he was around. She got bored of his reactions very quickly.
Place both of her feet on his back, she got up from her seat and faced the gathered informants. Not one was missing, that's good, they learned their lesson this time. They have no free will as long as they serve under her, so what right do they have to skip a meeting she planned.
"Since it has been a year, I have reorganized you ranks, you better be grateful I took time out of my day to do so." Her eyes seemed to have shone brightly as she posture made it so it looked like she was looking down on them.
They all said their thank yous and waited eagerly for their new rankings to be posted. It was already that time of year and yet no one was surprised when the rankings were revealed, even if it had the new kid on it.
1. Earl Grey
2. Masala Chai
3. Lou
4. Lavender
5. Maghrebi Mint
6. Chamomile
7. Jin Xuan
8. Jin Jun Mei
9. Kombucha
10. Darjeeling"Congratulations on the ones that made it. I expect you to show up to the Hunting Festival three months from now. Dismissed!" As Rina walked off stage, Lou looked particularly lifeless.
"I- I just..." He didn't expect to be number 3 so soon. Would the others bully him now? Would they just say that he's just a newbie getting ahead of himself? Worst yet, would they dump all their extra work onto him?
Jin Xuan interrupted him train of thought by placing a hand on Lou's shoulder. As soon as Lou turned his head to look, all he saw was Jin's blank eyes after a while of him shaking his head.

The stench of blood and dirt covered the area. Wreckage of the aftermath showed clear signs it was intended. The sound of footsteps resonated through the destroyed albeit quiet area.
The room...the furniture, everything was blown away. This was a clear sign of war, no, more importantly a sign of assassination targeted towards the queen specifically.
"Luciel!" A male's voice rang out, one much different from the present's. Even with his labored breathing he drew closer towards the source of the blood puddle. He himself had been injured and was clutching his side, but this person took more precedences than that.
There he found her, the woman named 'Luciel'. Everything below her waist on the left side had been blown off and blood trickled down her slightly parted lips. Her eyes...he could never forget it.
Those lifeless, blank eyes that stared at him.
Jumping from his sleeping position, Ian was covered in cold sweat. He had dreamt about that day again, that moment...He could never forget the moment. It was a event that shook the entire kingdom.
"Those bastards...I'll never forget them." Holding his face in his hands as his head hung low, he said it through gritted teeth. Those people that killed her, those people that tried to kill his family.
The one with blond hair like the sun and azure eyes that held no emotion whatsoever, the one that looked like a prince in a fairy tale. That demon, the one that hid behind a cold and calm mask as he stared at the destruction he caused.
And the one that commanded him too. A girl with dark blue hair, light blue eyes, and a sadistic grin that reached form ear to ear. Although he may have already killed her, for some reason he still feels uneasy about it.
"Throughout these 10 years, I've wondered, 'why did you have to be the one that was killed?' and I still wonder about it. It was I that was the original target, so why did they kill you? That damned butterfly mask didn't give me a answer until her very last breath..."
Ian spoke to himself for a long time afterwards. About what happened in the past year, Rina's impact on the country, his highness Eren's development, and this and that. He liked to pretend he was talking to Luciel about these things, he did after all, have a unstable mindset after these 'nightmares'.
