"Greetings, your highness, I am Rina Bellrose." Rina introduced herself with a bow and slight smile. She was face to face with the crown prince of this country she was in, she could not be more ecstatic.

The dark haired boy in front of her paused for a moment. He had never seen her before, but he sure as hell has heard about her.

The infamous Lady Bellrose that came from a different country and suddenly announced that her and his uncle were engaged. Everything about her seemed suspicious.

He knows his uncle was a womanizer, but he certainly was not such a fool to be tricked by a woman even if he favored her. Did he deem her trustworthy then?

"It's nice to meet you Lady Bellrose, I'm Eren De Esker Alster, the crown prince of this country."

No shit Sherlock.

Why did you think she would wait all this time in the castle for?

Rina held out her hand for Eren to shake, this was strange, since only politicians and envoys did this. Noticing her mistake Rina quickly pulled back her hand, "How rude of me, I apologize. It's a force of habit."

Covering her panicked face with her black fan, Rina observed the prince.

He sure deserves the title of male lead. Though a little plain compared to the Grand Duke.

"As you may already know I am going to be your aunt-in-law soon. I heard you were studying abroad and wanted to be the first one to greet you back."

The surrounding suddenly became awkward, with Rina's previous sentence and Eren's silence, of course the atmosphere would become like that. And the words that came out of Rina's mouth was basically rubbish, she was so sure she was going to become his aunt-in-law?

On top of that, she hasn't even married his uncle yet! She was still a stranger to him! This really put him on guard, her words didn't seem like they were said half jokingly, they were said with the most confidence in the former part.

While drowned in his own thoughts Eren didn't notice the slightly furrowed brows of Rina. After a few moments she cleared her throat getting his attention immediately.

"Now standing here will do us no good, shall we talk more inside?" And with that they left for the inside of the palace.

"Oh my, he is always so cold to me I never knew he had such a side to him." The sound of a woman's voice could be heard through out the guest room a woman and boy were currently occupying.

The boy nodded his head with a refreshing smile on his face. "Yes,even though uncle's reputation isn't the best, he still cares a lot for his family."

Rina could laugh in her heart. Of course he cares much about his family, he was dead set on never having you meet me. Though he doesn't seem to like your father very much~.

Rina and Eren chatted more about about topics they both like until they heard loud stomping from the hallway along with thunderous yelling. One could only guess that it was the one and only, Grand Duke.

"Woman! I don't care if you are a envoy or not anymore, how dare you step within a 50 meters of Eren!" The Grand Duke held his sword against Rina's neck ready to slash it at the slightest of movements.

"Grand Duke, I hope that you won't do anything too rash, after all isn't yo-" Before Rina was able to finish she was roughly dragged out by the Grand Duke. She could only sigh and regretfully wave goodbye to Eren, for the time being that is.
