Ace Combat: Shadow War

Prologue

My name is Warfare, my real name is classified. So how about a little bit about myself, I was born in Eruseas capital Farbanti on February 14th, 2003 today I am 18 years old and the year is 2021. I have both Erusean and Belkan blood in me and I have been around to live through 5 wars, the Lighthouse war, Continental war, Circum-Pacific War, Emmeria-Estovakia War, and the Aurelian War. When I was in High school as a freshman, I met my best friend Zilla who was a senior. When he graduated, he signed up for the Erusean air force and then when I graduated 3 years later, I too signed for the Erusean air force. When Zilla and I finally met up we made plans to create our own squadron, we would call it Outcast Squadron, we would work to become an elite squadron, protectors of Erusea. When we gained the courage to present our idea to the base commander, he was hesitant but after a heavy discussion and persuading he allowed us to create our own squadron. These were the people I recruited...

Peralta the youngest one only 17, he graduated top of his school and he too went for the air force. But him knowing they would deny him he lied about his age and was accepted into the air force. His secret was safe with me. He was a great pilot who loved the SASM's he called them "SASM-SMASH'MS".

Star was the weapons expert and was an excellent engineer, who loved history just as much as Zilla.

Remo was the oldest, he was 30 and was a phenomenal pilot, who was no stranger to war, he served in the Continental war and the Circum-Pacific war. He was shot down once while at Comberth bay protecting the Aegir fleet, he believes he was shot down by the infamous Mobius 1.

Somewhat was our dad and by that, I mean he was literally a dad of two and married

Digital & Wolf were best friends like me and Zilla

Krigs was the funniest because he would smoke weed and when he got high, he was extremely funny but when it came to a situation or any possible combat situation, he was serious. But doing drugs in the military was illegal so we had to keep it a secret

D00M was the type of person that boss's people around and tries to take control of my squadron on occasion, like one time me and him got into an argument which resulted in him punching me in the face knocking me out cold and when I woke up, I was in the infirmary with Zilla by my side. Zilla told me that he saw D00M knock me out and when D00M tried to walk away, Zilla grabbed him, swung him around, and knocked him out cold. He then proceeded to try to wake me but to no avail, Zilla radioed for an ambulance and the bases MP. Apparently D00M punched me so hard that I was out for a week and he had cracked my cheek bone, I thanked Zilla for helping me and I was released on the same day.

I talked to D00M when he was released, and he apologized, and I accepted his apology. But when he turned to walk away, I heard him mutter something but couldn't make it out and I just let It go and went to the dining hall.

When I entered the dining hall I looked around and saw my squadrons table, I walked over and sat down to which I was greeted by everyone in a happy tone, "How's your cheek man?" asked Somewhat taking a bit of his sandwich, "It's alright, it throbs occasionally, but other than that, I'm alright" I said, Somewhat and everyone nodded with a smile. I looked around at the people sitting at the table and didn't just see friends I saw a small family that I hope to have forever.

3rd person POV

Meanwhile in the Outcast barracks, D00M was in deep thought and was very upset, "He's not cut out for this and he never will be, I mean come on who does he think he is" D00M said with disgust towards the person he was talking about "Warfare... ugh even the name makes me sick" D00M heard a buzz come from his desk and he walked over to see that he was getting a zoom call, he sat down and answered. "Sir, everything is in place, we are waiting for your command" a soldier said dressed in an all-black uniform with his face covered by a balaclava, "Good to hear, but before I do, I must take care of warfare, give me say a month understood?" D00M said in a menacing tone and the soldier nodded ending the call, D00M stood up and looked out a window to see warfare and the rest the squad walking together talking and laughing, D00M stared at them with hate and disgust then he grinned and said "Watch out warfare, soon you will fall and then after that your friends will die" D00M walked away from the window and laid down in his bunk.
