"Ready, Killua?" Gon asked, being given a nod in response. Today they had arrived at Heaven's Arena. Today would hopefully be the day they reunite with Blank. Today would be the day they met up with Hisoka.
The two boys walked through the doors to Heaven's arena, side by side. Both displayed an air of unwavering confidence. They approached the lady at the desk, meaning to sign up. The receptionist didn't look up, fixing her glasses as she slid a paper their way. "Please, fill out these forms." she spoke.
"Okay, ma'am." Gon replied, out of common courtesy. After the two boys finished filling out the forms, they were told their numbers. Killua was number 2054, Gon 2055. Making their way to the stands, Killua initiated a conversation. "Y'know, I came here when I was six."
Gon's eyes widened at that. "Really? Woah!" Killua gave off a small smirk, speaking. "Yeah, my old man dropped me off here. I wasn't alowed to go home till I got to the 200th floor." Gon nodded, focused on Killua. "Do you think Blanks been here aswell, since.."
Killua almost immediately shook his head. "Nope, no way. Us Zoldyck's are raised with secrecy. Since Blank apparently was their trump card to use on me, I'm guessing they weren't stupid enough to bring her here." Blank was definitely a touchy subject.
Still, Gon persisted, kicking his feet in a sway. They were currently seated on the bleachers, supervising each fight. "Hisoka's going to be here." Gon said, having Killua reply with a small "Yeah". Not relenting, he continued. "Blank will probably be here, since Hisoka took her and all."
Gon had stated what both boys had believed to be the obvious. They hadn't known Hisoka had plucked her out of the Zoldyck den to only drop her off in the Troupes lair. Killua merely looked away, staring at his feet and the ground.
Gon gave Killua a saddened look. He honestly believed Blank was innocent, and was willing to do anything to help her. Killua, on the other had, had been raised with trust issues as his middle name. It'd probably take some time for him to forgive Blank.
Distracting each boy from their respective thoughts, a voice called out on the speaker phone. "Numbers 1973 and 2055." Gon jumped up, speaking. "Thats me, wish me luck." Already walking away, he paused for a brief second when Killua actually replied. "Good luck. Make sure to break his legs, Gon."
"I will, haha." Gon chuckled.
《 mini little time skippy 》
After each respective boys fight, they ended up in an elevator headed towards the fiftieth floor. In that elevator, they met a small boy younger then themselves called Zushi. The three exhanged some small talk, causing a minaurature bond to form amonst them.
Later on, they met his teacher, a man called Zing. He could never seem to remember to tuck in his shirt, but it didn't matter much. The four had a small talk, before Gon and Killua left to the waiting room.
The two boys fought each opponent bravely, and had been met with victory each time. After several fights, each boy was now met with the access to the two hundredth floor. Thats where we are now, stuck in the current events.
"Ready, Gon?" Killua asked, standing tall next to Gon. They were now in front of the elevator which would take them to the top. Stepping inside, Gon answered. "Yep, I'm ready to see Blank!" After a brief elevator ride, they found themselves on the ground of the two hundredth floor.
The air felt strange, more disturbed then your average atmosphere. Killua held out his arm, blocking Gon from moving any further. "Wait, Gon. Something feels.." He trailed off, allowing Gon to pick up. "Strange, yeah. I felt it too."
Walking down the hallway, the two were forced to stop due to a heavy pressure in the air surrounding them. There, at the end of the hallway, sat Hisoka. Contrary to the two boys hope, there was no blind female their age with silver hair next to him.
"Hisoka?" Gon questioned. Hisoka was smirking, staring at the two with closed eyes. Killua continued Gons inquiry, being on the same train of thought. "Wheres Blank, Hisoka."
As if he was created out of sarcasm, Hisoka slowly looked down both hallways next to him. Then, with a small shrug and a smirk on his face, Hisoka spoke.
"If you are so curious and want to know, come here." He motioned towards himself. "Come over here, face me." Accepting his challenge instantly, Killua gave a brief look to Gon before hurridely stepping forward.
In a blink, Killua was halted from stepping and thrown backwards instead. Gon ran over to Killua, to check on his friends state.
Hisoka watched, amused, as this played out. "Oh, well then." He started, almost mocking the two boys. "Thats a shame."
Gon squinted his eyes, and called out. "Hisoka, what did you do?!" Hisoka hummed, not planning to reveal his secrets. "Well, thats for me to know and for you to find out."
After looking down one of the hallways, a female approached the trio. Appearing to be one of the receptionists due to her outfit, Killua glared.
Giving the two twelve year old boys a certain look, she spoke. "Killua Zoldyck and Gon Freccs, you have till tonight to register for the two hundredth floor." Now, Killua and Gon were both stood outside the hallway of tight air.
The receptionist continued. "Until then, we will be waiting. I suggest you prepare yourselves." Then, she turned around and left.
Killua gave Gon an annoyed look. "Come on, Gon. Lets go." Dragging the green haired boy to the elevator, the two departed from the two hundredth floor.
Hisoka still sat there, a growing smirk on his features. "Now, whatever will you do Gon.."
