"What if... I told you I knew where this girl was. What if I told you the reason for this girls betrayal? What if... I told you she is currently being tortured right underneath your very own feet."
'Huh?' Killua paused, suddenly listening to his father very intently. 'What could be possibly mean... she's under my feet?' He thought, looking down.
"Do you mean..." Killua started to ask. "Yes, this girl you talk about is currently in the Zoldyck basement. I will say no more than that. It would be best for you to hear it from her herself." Killua's mind was racing. Why was Blank in their basement? And why had Killua never known that they had a basement? How long... Was Blank in the basement for?
"Now go, your friends are waiting for you." Silva said, causing Killua to stand up, bow, and run to his friends. On the way to the small cottage where his friends would be going to, Killua was lost in his thoughts. 'What does he mean... She's being tortured in the Zoldyck basement? Is it punishment for... Betraying me?'
Killua's heart, which was originally shattered by Blank's betrayal, was starting to piece itself back together. Slowly, but surely, he was gaining back his humanity. Killua increased his pace, anxious to get to the cottage soon. After about 20 minutes, Killua arrived at the cottage.
Contrary to thinking about Gon coming soon, Killua's mind was more focused on Blank at the moment. Gon was merely a second thought. Though, Killua's mind occasionally drifted off to Gon when he thought about telling Gon about Blank and rushing over to where she was.
He was chilling in a small room, impatiently waiting for Gon to arrive. It annoyed Killua thinking about how long he was waiting for the trios arrival. Sighing, Killua got up and headed towards the living room. About to open his mouth to complain, Killua stopped seeing Gon sitting on the couch next to Leorio and Kurapika.
'What where they doing here already? Shouldn't Goto have told him already of their arrival?' Seeing Killua, Gon immediately ran up to Killua and engulfed him in a hug, which Kurapika and Leorio joined. After the big ended, Killau remembered what he was worried about. "It's good to see you guys and all, but according to my old man, Blank is in the Zoldycks basement!"
"Huh?" Leorio replied with a goofy look on his face. Kurapika paused, and looked down. He really didn't know what to think of Blank. The fact was, in the end, she DID betray Killua. And friends don't betray friends. Gon smiles brightly, exclaiming "That's good! Why don't we go and get her right now!"
Killua looked at Gon, then at the ground, as if contemplating. His heart still hurt whenever he thought of Blank. He really believed she had betrayed him, but then his old man claimed that she was more innocent then she seemed. Why would Blank even be in the Zoldyck's basement? Did she have ties to his family? Was she sent to the hunter exams to spy on him?
