4:A Disturbing Truth

Shani's prov

I looked at the the collapsed cave in shock. "What?" i asked in complete shock and the group photo flashed in my mind "Obito........... died." Kakashi said sadly with Rin crying by his side. "Okay." i replied dryly.arent you going to punish me?!?!?!?!?" Kakashi yelled angrily at my response to the news. "You want me to hate you?" i asked and Minato stepped forward to interrupt but i held up my hand telling him to not do anything. "YES!!!! i killed obito! its my fault!" Kakashi yelled.

"Answer me thin kakashi." i said and he nodded tears streaming down his face. "Did you walk up to obito and kill him with malice?" i assked and his eyes widened. "No, BUT-!" i cut him of by speaking with an assertive tone of voice. "Did you want him dead?" i asked and his tears streamed down his face faster. "No..." he replied silently.

"Did you do any action that killed him directly?" i asked and he hiccuped. "I was to slow. he had to push me out of the way of a bolder. And died in my place." he said and hiccuped again. "Okay then. You have had a part of his death." i sid and he fell to his knees crying.

Rin and Minato stepped forward to oppose but i said "Do not say anything." they didn't move or speak. "Kakashi." i said louder which caused him to look up to me with guilt. "Do you really think that the friend that saved your life would want you to waste it?" i asked and his eyes widened in shock. "N-no." he answered.

"He gave you that eye correct?" i said and he nodded. "Then do not waste the eye. This is the last part of him. See the world grow and prosper with that eye. Watch the war end and observe the generations that come after you peacefully grow." i said and everyone seemed shocked at what i was saying. "View the wold from his eye, give him the gift of seeing things become better even after death." i finished and he started to cry harder.

"Shani...." Minato whispered under his breath. I looked at Minato and his eyes glazed over into a dull blue. "Thank you." he whispered barely audible. "It was nothing." i said and smiled weakly. I walked up to kakashi as he sat on the grass and kneeled down. i wrapped my arms around him and he cried into my shoulder. I stood up holding him like a toddler and we rand towards the village.

___3 years later___

Minato is married to kushina... He's far to out of my reach now. I sighed and walked under the gates back into the village that i love so much, i smiled at that thought. "Shani..." izumo and kotezu said dryly. My smile vanished and i looked at them. "What happened?" i asked and their expressions dulled. "Rin, she.... died." they said and i blinked. "Yet another beautiful life wasted in this war." i spat and they looked at me shocked.

i walked forward and was met by depressed Kakashi that seemed to have been starving himself for a while. He had bags under his eyes and he was staring at his feet. "Kakashi." i said as he started to scratch away on his hands tearing off some skin.

His head snapped up and looke at me. "Your question wont work this time." he said sadly. "I let obito see the deth of Rin through this eye... and with these hands." he said sadly and i sighed. "Again i will ask you multiple questions and you will answer them." i said and closed my eyes.

"Did you do it intentionally?" i asked. "It was my own han-" he tried to say but i interrupted him by yelling "Did you kill her with the goal of killing her?!" i felt the gaze of many on me and i heard a whimper come from kakashi. "No.' he squeaked out and i smiled gently. "Then your sins have been forgiven." i said and opened my eyes.

I hugged him and teleported us to my house. "Lets get you looking better." i said and he simply nodded. "Shani." minto said appearing in a puff of smoke. "Yes Minato, i know about the news." i answered and he looked at the crying kakashi. "You need to report your mission to the hokge." he finished.
