???'s prov
I walked down the streets and saw Minato up ahead. I smiled and ran up to him. "Hey Minato!" I said happily and he smiled back. "Hello, Shani." he said and then I paused for a second. "I was suppose to meet with Kushina. Have you seen her?" I asked and he shook his head. I looked down at my stubby feet.
I wonder where she is.... she seemed excited that I would be her friend... I looked up at Minato and he had a bright smile on. "Let's look for her." he said and I nodded in agreement as my heart skipped a beat.
We started walking through the village when I spotted red on the ground. I ran over there and crouched down on the ground and picked up the red strands.
"Minato! What does that mean?" I asked holding up the red hair. "It means she left a trail. She's being kidnapped." he answered grabbing the strand.
"We have to help her!" He shouted at him and he looked at me shocked. "Kay." he said and we rushed down the dirt path following the red strands.
Minato got most of the guards while I only took down two. Kusina was about to fall but he flashed and caught her jumping up to the top of a tree.
A lump in my thought formed and my chest hurt seeing them together like that. I smiled as he looked towards me and I headed home.
I entered the empty house and my lip trembled. "Mom..... Dad..... Please come back." I pleaded and fell to my knees crying.
Next day I woke up on the floor curled up. I propped myself up and stared silently at the two photo's of my parents. I stood up and got ready for another lesson with Jirighya sensei.
He's a really nice sensei. I ran to our meeting palace and stopped a couple yards away. I took a deep breath and ran forward.. I walked to the seat next to Minato and greeted him with a smile.
He responded with a smile of his own which caused my cheeks to tint a light pink. I looked down at my lap flustered by my reaction and when I looked back up he was talking with Kushina who now stood next to him.
I felt angry at her but I don't want to be a bully to my new friend so I just stared at the desk. "Okay everyone! Let's start our mission!" He shouted happily and my head shot up, ready to absorb any information it was given during the mission.
***Time skip***
The mission ended quickly so I turned to Minato and asked "Do you want to train together?" and he nodded with a smile and said "Yeah."
I grinned at his response and we walked towards the school exit. "Do you want to train at your or my house?" I asked and he looked up in thought. "How about my house?" He said and I nodded.
"Yeah, let's train at your house!" I said excitedly and he shot me another gentle smile. My heart skipped another beat as I walked along with Minato to his house.
When we got to his house he stepped in with me following behind him. Hey dear, how are you?" The asked crouching down to Minato's and my hight.
"Great!" I said happily and they smiled. "Are you two training together again?" Minato's dad asked. Minato nodded his head and grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his back yard.
I looked at him and he smiled as he gave me shuriken. "Try. Let's see how you throw." he said and I nodded, grabbing the shuriken from his hands. I positioned myself and looked at the red dot in the middle of the target.
I threw it and they all hit right outside of the target not even close to hitting the red dot. I slumped my shouldered and Minato laughed. "Here let me help you." He said and retrieved the shuriken from the wooden pole.
He handed them to me and stood behind me. Grabbed my hands with his and my face turned a bright red. He swayed as he told me what to do as I threw the shuriken and then he asked "Got it?"
"Y-yes." I stuttered out and then we heard his parents coo at us, saying "That's so cute." his father teased and I flushed a scarlet. Minato's mother gently punched her husband on the arm and he rubbed it in a fake mock.
The two chuckled and walked back into the house. "If you get down the shuriken throwing you'll be the best ninja." Minato encouraged, taking a step away from me.
"I could never. Your so amazing at everything you would be the greatest ninja before I even had a hope." I said kicking at the grass. "Thats not true." he replied and I held in a laugh.
"Your better at Jutsu's then I am." He said and held my shoulders. "Your faster..." I mumbled and he lifted my chin. "That's because I have a Jutsu that you don't know." he said and my heart raced.
"I'll teach it to you if you want." he said and all I could to was nod my head slightly. "See." he said and walked towards the target. "Throw it." he said and walked back to by me.
I readied my stance and threw the shuriken and the all hit the middle of the red dot. "I did it! Now I can compete with you!" I shouted excitedly and hugged Minato.
"Thank you." I said and pecked him on the cheek before rushing home. I did a bull's eye!
I opened the door and rushed to the two photo's of my parents. "Mom, dad, you know how I've been telling you that I excel in everything but Shuriken throwing?" I asked and it was silent.
"Well If I keep up the training a bit I'll be able to do it perfectly." I said and there was still nothing with he's caused a ping in my heart to form. "Now I'll be better and it won't be as hard now. I graduated the chunin exams with ease not even needing to use shuriken but now everything will me twice as easy!" I finished and bowed my head before I rushed into my room.
I flopped onto the bed and sighed.
