Tony Stark POV
"Remind me to get Bruce to look at this computer problem later. Us two old men aren't any good with this" I said to Cap.
"Roger that Tony". God Steve is so old fashioned sometimes. I was about to say this to him when I got a text from Nick Fury.
"Be there in five minutes. Have everyone present, it's important". Brief... wonder what he could want.
"Fury's coming & he said he has something important to tell us" I announce to Steve.
"Any idea what it could be?" Steve asks.
"Not the slightest clue". With that we both head down to the base room.
Y/n's POV.
This building is massive! Nick and I get off the helicopter and I follow him closely behind. We enter through these huge double doors and then this group of people are all staring at me.
"Avengers, I'd like you to meet Y/n Maximoff" Nick announces.
"Am hi I'm Y/n". They're all staring at me and I feel so out of place...
One of the girls with the short of red hair speaks. "I'm Nat".
"Wait Maximoff?". The man with the dark brown hair is staring right at me. Yes my name is Maximoff, Nick literally just said that.
"Nick who is this person" asks the other girl with longer red hair. She looks like she's just seen a ghost...
"I know what you're thinking and the answer is no". No? What is Nick on about? "Y/n has been an active member of S.H.I.E.L.D for the last two years and she is very special". Nick looks at me with a smile, like a proud father.
"Her name is Maximoff and I'm Maximoff". Wow whoever this girl is doesn't realise some people just have the same last name.
"Both my parents died when I was young, it's only been me my whole life...". Who does this woman think she is , talking as if I'm not even there.
Suddenly Nick's phone beeps. "Listen I have to go. Y/n will be staying here for a few weeks just to train with you. Please everyone be nice", Nick looks at me. "Y/n take care of yourself"
I hugged Nick , this is the first time he's ever left me alone somewhere.
"Thanks Nick...", and then he was gone.
"Well Y/n, better introduce ourselves. You probably know me as Iron Man but my real name is Tony Stark" the man with the brown hair said.
I looked at him with confusion.
"What's Iron Man?". This seemed to be hilarious to the extremely tall blonde haired man sitting on the couch.
"Sucks to be you Tony that's quite embarrassing". This man gets up and shakes my hand. "I'm Thor".
I shake his hand. "Hi".
The other blonde man (who is quite attractive if I must say), standing in the doorway says "I'm Steve Rogers".
I can't help but smile.
"Nice to meet you Steve"
