A Maximoff Secret

Trust me

Y/n's POV

I looked around the room at the people I'd be living with for the next few weeks.
"Well it's really nice to meet you all.. is this everyone?" I asked.

"Well no but you will meet the rest of them soon" Tony told me.

"Oh right okay". That girl with the long red hair keeps staring at me. I need to get out of this room. "Where's the bathroom I just need to freshen up"

"Out the door and left" Tony instructed.

I walk out the door but I stand beside it. Yes I'm nosey but I want to know what they have to say about me.

Wanda's POV

"Something doesn't feel right" I said. Ever since Y/n walked in my senses have felt all over the place.

"What do you mean Wanda?" Steve asked.

"I got this weird feeling when Y/n walked into the room. I can't explain it" and I wasn't lying. It was like a feeling of fear.. something like that.

"What do you think it was?" Tony asked. He looked at me with uncertainty.

"I really don't know..."

"Well whatever it was we can deal with it later" Steve said. He looked annoyed at me. Why I don't know. "Let's just try to make Y/n feel welcome"

Y/n's POV

I smiled at this. Steve seems kind I'd like to get to know him. I wonder what Wanda means though I got a weird feeling too but I presumed it was just nerves...

I enter back into the room and all eyes are back on me. "So tell me what the Avengers are. Nick didn't get a chance to tell me much"

Tony looked at me like I had two heads when I said this. "You don't know who we are?" He asked, disbelief written all over his face.

"Back at S.H.I.E.L.D I didn't talk to a lot of people so I never really knew what was going on in the world" I said looking down at the floor. "Nick and Maria Hill were the people i usually hung out and when they weren't there I was mostly by myself"

"So... you're a loner?" Thor asked me, trying not to laugh. Wow exactly what you want to be asked in the first hour of meeting a group of new people... Tony rolled his eyes at Thors comment.

"I just like to spend time by myself.. alone" I said right back to him , with a hint of annoyance in my voice. Why wouldn't I enjoy spending time by myself? I'm the best company!

"Okay I think that's enough questions. It's getting late" Steve said, taking a step closer to me. "Will we go find you a room Y/n?"

Before I even get to answer, Steve already has my bags in his hands. "Oh uhm sure thank you. Good night everyone" I quickly follow Steve.

"Sorry about them" Steve said to me once we were out of earshot of the others. "They can be so rude"

"It's okay... thank you for being so nice" I looked at him and noticed his amazing blue eyes. Suddenly he looks at me and catches me staring. I quickly look away. "Thanks for sticking up for me too, I heard what you said to the others before I came back in. You're quite nice to considering we just met..."

"You're welcome Y/n" Steve was looking right at me now. Oh my god I could get lost in his blue eyes... suddenly he's talking again and I didn't hear a word he said.
"Sorry what did you say?"

Steve smiles and even his smile is perfect...
"I was new too once upon a time ago. I understand how hard it is"

I laugh under my breath.
"Yeah I'm sure you know how it feels to be thrown into this new place where everyone judges you" The elevator door opens in-front of  us and we both get in.

"Trust me Y/n, I know" Steve looks down at me with a smug smile and presses the button for floor 2.
