"Spider-Man saves New York's Queens once again" you read off a news website at lunch.
"Yeah" Peter hums zoning out.
"Hello? Peter what's up with you, you haven't been paying attention all day?" You ask worried, knowing your boyfriend has been busy saving the day as the masked hero.
"Sorry just um thinking you know" he lied but you didn't want to push it.
"We still on for studying after school?" You ask gaining his attention once again.
"Oh uh yeah of course" he nods giving you a thumbs up and a tried smile.
"Great I'll see you then and try not to zone out in class" you tell him as you stand up and give him a quick kiss before walking away to the chemistry lab.
~time skip~
"So what should we start with math, English, history or science?" You ask as you open your bag and pull out your books onto Peters desk.
"How about we don't do any of that?" He suggests slyly.
"Pete we have to do our homework" you scold him as he flops on the bed and smiles innocently at you, causing you to laugh.
"Fine let's start with math"
~~~~~
"What's the answer for number eight?" You ask Peter who is normally faster than you when it comes to schoolwork. You got no response causing you to look up at the boy staring blankly at the textbook in his lap. "Pete?" You startled him as he dropped the book.
"Sorry what was that?"
"Did you get to number eight yet?"
"Oh um I'm still on number three" he replies sheepishly. You just nod and turn to the back of the book to correct your work.
"How long has it been since you slept?" You ask peter as he has almost drifted off for the 6th time that night.
"I don't know what your talking about, I'm fine" he claims shaking his head to wake up more.
"Peter I know homework is boring, but it's not enough to put you to sleep" you tell him putting a comforting hand on top of his.
"It's just been a lot lately, I'm up late every night fighting bad guys then up early for school the next day" he explains clearly stressed and tired as he runs a hard over his face.
"You know you can take a break, there are other hero's and if it's really important you'll know" you tell him.
"Your right, maybe I should get some sleep" he agrees.
"I should head home now anyways. Get lots of rest okay, I don't want to hear about spider-boy swinging around New York again all night" you tell him honestly as you gather homework.
"Spider-Man" he grumbles to correct you. You laugh and give him a quick kiss on the check while he pouts. "Wait" he calls once you turn towards the door.
"Yes?" You question turning back to face him.
"Can you stay, please" he practically begs causing you to laugh.
"Of course whatever helps you get some rest" you smile, climbing into his twin bed next to him. He pulled you close to his chest and hummed as you both fell asleep.
