Sabre awoke to a painful migraine, his throat was dry. He sat up slowly,
wincing as he scratched the back his neck. He felt nauseated, feeling threatened when he tried to move out of the bed. Sabre walked down the stairs and smelled something sweet,
he tasted grape jam in his mouth suddenly. He walked steadily into
the kitchen, the sweet sent getting stronger. He peaked from behind the counter top's corner, hearing a soft humming. "Orange.. Steve?"
He called out, seeing the orange haired skyscraper. "Goodmorning Sabre."
He spoke softly as if he knew Sabre had a headache. "What.. what are you making?" "Nothing in particular,"
Sabre covered his stomach quickly as it growled. Orange chuckled, humming again. "Ah.. I see, you're hungry~"
Sabre grumbled and sat down, leaning against the counter.
"I don't think you'd like this, but I'll give you a taste."
Sabre's head popped up, hearing a liquid being poured.
He turned his head to see Orange Steve holding a bowl. He sat in front of Sabre,
pressing it lightly against his lips.
Sabre took a small sip, his fingers making their way onto the rem of the bowl as his mouth was filled filled with flavor. It had a spicy tint, but was mixed with something sweet.
Orange Steve chuckled seeing Sabre push the bowl closer.
"I didn't expect you to like it.."
Sabre finished it, licking his lips before wiping his mouth with his hand.
Sabre yawned quietly, rubbing his eyes.
Orange Steve sighed at this, picking Sabre up in his arms speedily.
"I can walk!!" Sabre yelped.
"I know that. But you're still tired, aren't you?"
Sabre grumbled tiredly, squirming in Orange Steve's arms as he was laid down on his bed.
"What.. time is it..?"
"I'm unsure, but you only got a few hours of sleep." The skyscraper replied softy. Sabre grabbed his arm, laying his head on it. "You need sleep too then."
Sabre spoke confidently, curling into a ball. Orange Steve only chuckled,
Laying his head beside Sabre's.

Sabre snored softly, his eyes peacefully closed. Orange Steve slowly moved
away from the small and fragile human, being careful as to not wake him up. Orange Steve smiled, happy to have a purpose again.
As too this world has given up on him, as well as themselves,
they do not strive to change the world, only to survive. Such a cryptic way of saying you're suicidal, but you feel better now that you have someone to take care of. Orange Steve sighs, carefully walking down the stairs of his home, to the living room.
He could almost hear his best friend's laughter from outside.
Red Steve... He missed him alot.
The emptiness was replaced with something less toxic however,
as his relationship with his friend caused him to take part in some poisonous addictions.
Orange Steve walked back up the stairs and peeked into the guest room that Sabre had now 'claimed' and chuckled.
Hes so...

He shook his head, taking himself from the little daze

He shook his head, taking himself from the little daze.
Sabre seemed to be the only pure thing here, truly.. But he couldn't really hurt anyone, and the test was, if he had the power to do so, would he?
