{Chapter Seventeen}

Sabre's head hurt alot, he felt thirsty and weak. Opening his eyes slowly, Sabre noticed  he was cuddled close to the orange skyscraper. Sabre pulled on their shirt,
"Wake upp!!.." "Hmm..? Sabre? Oh.. Oh." He picked Sabre up swiftly, his arms more firmly wrapped around him now. He took him to the kitchen as if he had read the little human's mind, and filled a cup with water and handed it to him. He took small sips of the purified water, earning hiccups. Orange Steve smiled at this, chuckling softly,
"I'm going to guess you're hungry as well?" Sabre only nodded drinking more of the water.

This is Horror Quest-

Sabre woke up with a sprained ankle, and his right arm had a second degree burn..
part of his shirt was charred black, and
the house's roof had a giant hole, half the building was burnt to the ground, it had showed signs if rain, as Sabre wasn't the only thing soaking wet. The little human struggled to stand, he let out a pained groan as he managed to get to his feet.
He looked around, his hand shading his eyes from the seizure galore over head.
He leaned against what remained of the building..
After turning a corner, Sabre nearly puked.
He put his hands over his mouth at the sight, tears forming in his eyes.
"Or-orange Steve?!"
He called out, no answer..
Sabre ran to his friend's side, falling to his knees in the process. "Orange Steve!!"
Sabre shaked and shivered,
still no response.
The lower half of the Steve was mostly torn off and mutilated,
the spine broken in two and organs splattered out all over the floor, staining the amber carpet a dark scarlet.
"ORANGE STEVE PLEASE!!!"
Was his protector and friend gone forever? Were they dead??..
Sabre's thoughts were racing,
and his heart drummed loudly in his chest as he sobbed, continuing to cry out to his assumed dead companion.
"Sabre..." The little human's breath hitched at the familiar voice. "...H-huh?...."
"Yes.. Thats it..." Blue Steve kneeled in front of him, a gentle look in his eyes, he wiped Sabre's tears away carefully. "W-what happened??.."
It was so confusing, it all hurt his brain, and heart too.
Nothing made since, all he knew and focused on, was his dead friend.
"I can bring him back, Sabre."
Blue purred, sensing Sabre's desire and desperation.
To take advantage of the small human it would be..
So easy right now.
If it were to be anytime,
now was perfect.
"H-how??!" Sabre shouted, tears beginning to stream down his face once more.
Being small compared to everything else truly sucked.
Now he knew how short people felt when he towered over them in that teasing way.
And he hated it.
He hated being so helpless and useless, needing somebody by his side nearly 24/7. But this took a huge hit on his mentality, if this nearly broke him, what was it gonna be like in the next blow came? "Let me.. Have him...."  "W-what..?"
What did he mean??
But Sabre didn't have time to think, Orange Steve and the Blue Steve disappeared before his eyes.
And he was left alone in the decimated home.
