Today was a cold day.
Even though the blinding sun was most visible in the morning, Sabre awoke to a chilly autumn atmosphere as he stepped outside.
A soft breeze sent shivers down his spine, and Sabre returned back inside.
No one was home. Not even a note was left.
The village looked deserted, empty. "Rainbow?" Sabre called, hugging his chest with worry.
Lightning suddenly began striking in front of the house, frightening him.
Sabre wasn't a fan of how Steves' quick traveled.
It didn't have to be cloudy for them to just erupt into sound and light.
As the brightness cleared, the little human rubbed his eyes, and was happy to see Rainbow Steve was now walking through the door. He ran up to him and hugged him. "Hey Sabre.. We need to go. Get your shoes."
The creature ordered sternly.
Sabre nodded, but felt even more anxious now.
Sabre put on his brown boots and buckled him, this helped him walk on the dagger like grass
that was everywhere throughout this world.
While the darkness had been fading, the animals were less rabid and hostile, and Steves no longer and black spots all over their bodies.
Now it was just.. Tall colorful people. Some had blind eyes due to the darkness, but they were more peaceful now.
Less.. Empty and sad.
Sabre was swiftly picked up once he was done buckling his boots, and the Steve covered the little human's ears.
"Close your eyes Sabre."
Sabre was very frightened by the thoughts of being surrounded by lightning, but did as he was told.
Heat and a loud bang soon came from all around, causing Sabre to whimper in fear, but as soon as it came, it was gone.
What was going on?
