Kirstie POV
When I wake up, Avi's not there. My hands swim along the sheets attempting to find him. I check in the bathroom, the guest bedroom, the kitchen, the living room. When I enter his office, I see him. He smiles at the sight of me, then it fades. He attempts to pull me away, but a sack has been pulled over my head. Two sets of hands fight over me. I hear Avi sob, and a car ignition. I strain against the ropes on my hands. I know what to do. I place my elbows at my waist, and bang my straining hands against my knees. The rope finally breaks, and I look out the window. Avi's car is right next to my kidnappers. I see him mouth fight and I know what I have to do. I look in the front seat and see Jeremy, with a red head I recognize as Jessica. I go for Jeremy first, and bang him hard in the head. He whips around, and Jessica begins to smack me. I bite down hard on her bicep, and it draws blood. She pulls away, and I have a few seconds to search for a weapon. I see a crowbar. I pick it up, and hit it hard on the steering wheel, where we go hurdling it a tree. I hear a crash, and their death is almost immediate. Jessica, at least. Jeremy lies unconscious, but still breathing. I manage to fight my way out of the car, where Avi, who had been following us, and the police stand.
"Baby," Avi runs to me, swooping me off my feet, and swirling me around in the air. I take his cheeks in my hands, kissing anything I could see: his cheeks, jawline, neck, lips. He puts me down, but leaves a hand securely on my waist, to go talk to the police.
"Ms. Maldonado, we need to talk. What happened?" a officer with a neck as thick as my thigh asked.
"I woke up, and looked for my fiancé today, and he was in the office. I then was taken, but he attempted to get me back. I was then in a car, and I realized I had to get out. My hands were tied, so I banged them on my legs, and it broke. I then took of the covering on my face, and I saw Jeremy Lewis, and Jessica Nicholas. I hit Jeremy, and then Jessica was very aggressive to me. I bit her, and looked for a weapon. I found a crowbar, and hit the steering wheel, so we would stop easily," I say, out of breath. Avi's grip tightens, and the police issue us to leave. We go directly to the car, and Avi drives us home. He's angry. It really scares me; I've never seen him this mad.
"Avi, baby," I place a hand on his shoulder, and some of the aggression melts away. "What's wrong?"
"How could they do that to my Kirstie? I love you so much, and you could've died if they got that crowbar," he says, tears welding in his eyes.
"Shh, babe. You don't need to think about it," I stroke his hair. When we get home, we lie on the couch, him in between my legs, his back on my stomach. I wanted to watch his old college performances. They really are good. I stroke his hair, but he doesn't fall asleep. He gets up, and puts the DVD with half of my performances. First is the 'Spell Block Tango'.
"This was a hard role because I'm not exactly a sex kitten," I say.
"Oh, please," Avi scoffs, and I pop him on the forehead. I get uncomfortable, so we switch, so my head is under his chin. He rests his chin on the top of my head. I take a Snapchat, and put it on my story. We come across a video, from me when I was around 14.
"Dear future husband," I start. "First, I bet you are super sexy, because I wouldn't settle for anything less. Second, I hope to give you my V-Card, because yeah. Also, I want to have a husky when I get older, so buy us one. Love, Kirstie," I cringe through the entire thing, but Avi laughs.
"So, did I get the virginity?" He asks.
"No, I lost that to Mitch," I smirk, playing a joke on him.
"Good Lord woman! You two were like, babies!" He scoffs.
"I was joking," I flip around, and smack his chest lightly. I love him far too much for it to be healthy.
