~Author's Note~
In, "Season 3, Episode 21: Here Comes the Sun" Luke tells Lorelai, that Jess is gone. In, "Season 3, Episode 20: Say Goodnight, Gracie" Jess and Luke gets into a fight and Luke, basically throws him out.
Then in the beginning in "Season 3, Episode 21: Here Comes the Son" Luke goes to Lorelai and tells her that Jess is gone and then Lorelai tells Rory that Jess was gone and never coming back and this is what this one-shot is about. It's about what he was thinking when he had come and told her, what happened with Jess. Also we wanted Rory to know before she heard it from someone else. This is written in No one's POV. Luke walked up to Lorelai's house. As soon as he come up the stairs and about to ring the doorbell. The door opened and Lorelai walked out.
"Luke. What are you doing here? I heard footsteps outside", She turned to face him. "What's the matter"? She asked, as she saw him trying to hush her.
"Is Rory in there"? Luke hissed.
"Yes, of course. She's inside studying", Lorelai hissed back, confused.
"I have to tell you something. And, I don't want Rory to overhear it", Luke said, quickly.
"Okay. What's the matter"? Lorelai asked.
"Jess. He's gone", Luke said, looking directly at her.
