~Author's Note~
In, "Season 3, Episode 5: Eight O'clock at the Oasis" Lorelai and Rory's neighbor, Dwight who just moved into the neighborhood he asks Lorelai if she wouldn't mind checking in at his house and watering his lawn. She reluctantly agreed to do it.
Then when she and Rory went over there, his soon to be ex wife called, and left him a very not very nice message.
Then he calls Lorelai later and asks her to water his lawn up to three times a day, starting the next day, for at least 15 minutes. This one-shot is written in No one's POV. Hope you enjoy reading this!

(No one's POV)
The next morning as Lorelai was ready to go to work. She decides that she wanted to check the messages. All of them were pretty much old messages and were deleted.
But, then all of a sudden Lorelai starts to hear a voice that sounds like Dwight, she sighed but kept listening.
"Hey, Lorelai. It's Dwight. I want to thank you again for watering my lawn for me. Listen I have looked at the forecast is going to be and it will be very hot for the next couple of days, so I was just wondering if you wouldn't mind watering my lawn three times instead of two for 15 minutes each time"?!
Lorelai just looked at the phone and stared at it as if she couldn't comprehend. What she just heard, but she kept on listening to the message.
"Anyway, thanks Lorelai. I really appreciate this" Dwight said. "I will see you in a few days".
And, with that he hung up. Lorelai and Rory just looked at the phone, not knowing what just happened.
