~What is Mom doing here?~ (4x15)

~Author's Note~

In, "Season 4, Episode 15: Scene in a Mall" Lorelai and Rory are window shopping at the mall to spend much needed quality time together, after not seeing each other, or even talking to each other. So, while they were walking around, when they were on the escalator coming up the other end. This is written in Lorelai's POV. And, this one-shot is what Lorelai is thinking, when she sees Emily. (No one's POV)

I'm on the escalator with Rory and everything is going fine. Window shopping? What was I thinking? We both didn't have any money to spend. Good thing that we are leaving right now.

Oh, that woman looks like Mom. It is Mom. What is Mom doing there? I quickly hide my face.

"What's wrong"? Rory says.

I quickly grab the opposite side of her face and pulled it to me.

"Hey, what's going on"? Rory hissed.

"Mom's here", I whisper.

"Grandma's here", she questioned.

"Shh, yes. Now be quiet or she will see us", I whisper back.

"Phew I think we passed her, she didn't notice us", I thought to myself.

"Rory? Lorelai"?!, someone called.

I froze and sighed. Nope she saw us.

Both, me and Rory turned around. We were caught be Mom, and there was nothing for us to do just then.
