~Author's Note~

This is the second installment of this mini one-shot series. In this installment, goes into the face that in the episode, he ushers Lorelai outside and then he tells her that Jess left and that he, while even though he was happy that he was gone, because Jess drove him crazy and then felt that he let him down. He asks Lorelai to tell Rory. What will Lorelai's response be? Read to find out. This is written in No one's POV. Hope you enjoy!

(No one's POV)

Lorelai just looks at her and said, "Oh, Luke. I'm sorry".

Luke looks at her and answered back. "Yeah, so I know that Rory might not know, so I was wondering if you could tell her".

Lorelai looked back to him, "You want me to tell her"?

"Yes. I don't know what to say to say", Luke said. "I failed him".

Lorelai looked at him and said, "You took care of him and defended him, gave him a job. And, he was given every chance to do the right thing".

Luke looked at her and nodded. He knew that she was right about this. He turned and looked at her. "Anyway, she needs to know that he's gone".

"I have a better idea", Lorelai started. "If you want her to know, tell her yourself. It will be better coming from you, then from me".

Luke looked at her and nodded. "Okay, thanks Lorelai".

Lorelai and Luke together, walked back into the house.
