11:30 pm

When Soarin came back home, he saw a very sleepy Rapid Fire sitting in front of Lightning and Fire, on the couch.

It seemed like they were talking about something.

"Hey guys." Soarin greeted.

"Ohh Soarin you're here! Rapid was waiting for you for a long time! Look, he even started to sleep" Fire said.

Soarin looked at the boy. Like he said, the boy was really sleepy. He sleepily looked at Soarin and then his eyes went wide and his sleepiness from a few seconds ago was nowhere to be seen now.

He was fully awake now.

"Oh hey Soarin, I just wanted to talk to you about something..." Rapid said.

"Oh.. at this hour? It's really late though, can't we talk about this tomorrow?" Soarin requested.

"No, we can't actually, because she'll be awake then..." Rapid said.

"She?" Soarin questioned.

Rapid suddenly looked a bit uncomfortable. He stole quick glances towards Fire and Lightning. Soarin took the hint and looked towards the twins too.

Fire and Lightning were just standing there with an awkward smile plastered on their faces.

Soarin thought for a moment, before taking Rapids's hand and walking towards his room.

He took Rapid inside his room and closed the door shut. Not before he told Lightning and Fire to leave though.

He sighed and turned around facing Rapid.

"Sit down." He motioned towards Rapid to sit on his bed.

He sat down.

"What is it? What do you mean by 'she'?" Soarin suddenly questioned.

Rapid sighed loudly.

"Look, I don't care if this is too much for you to process, but, I'm doing this for my bestest friend ever so, you must understand this.." he started.

Soarin nodded as a sign for Rapid to keep going on. Rapid sighed once again.

"Dash and I have been very close and I owe her everything and she deserves the world, she is too precious, and I don't ever want to see her sad ever again. She told me about everything going on between you two and, by judging you, I think you're a pretty good man, but it's not my place to tell this anyway."

Soarin nodded. Rapid took a deep breath.

"Look, I don't know how you'd take this but, she likes you. Like, not like like, but love like. Do you get it? Like, she Loves you dude. Dash loves you. I know this isn't my place to tell you this, but she is just too scared to tell you that, and by seeing your behaviour towards her, I can tell that you love her too. I know that this sort of special news should be told by her, but she's just too afraid to tell you so here I am.."

To tell that Soarin was shocked would be an understatement. He was overwhelmed. He didn't know how to feel. He was happy? He was scared? He was nervous? He was sad?

He was also shocked by the fact that he read through him like a book. He found out that he had a crush on Dash by just noticing his behaviour? But he also felt kinda sad.

Why would he be sad though? Because he was starting to think that all of this was a prank and Rapid just wanted to test Soarin?

But he didn't care about any of those because he was overflowing with joy now.

He was thinking too deeply that he forgot he had to reply to Rapid. He was completely frozen. This was too much for him to take like Rapid had told him.

On the other hand, Rapid was worrying because he was scared that he broke the boy. He was panicking now.

"Soarin? You alright bro? Oh my god, are you alive? SOARIN???" Rapid was panicking too much and now was shaking Soarin like an asthma inhaler. (I'm sorry if anyone found this line offensive, I didn't mean to offend you)

"Huh? Wha? How? When? Where? What happened? Is this for real? Are you telling me the truth? Is this some sort of prank? Am I dreaming? This is too good to be true, oh my fuck-"

"SOARIN!" Rapid cut him off but cupping his cheeks with his hand, which made him look like a duck.

"Mmph?" Soarin hummed in response.

"For your first question, I just told you how Dash feels towards you. For your second question, yes this is for real. And yes I'm telling you the truth." Rapid answered his questions.

"Oh my god, what do I do now? How can I speak to her tomorrow? Should I ask her out?" Soarin was the one to start panicking now. Rapid just chuckled at his cuteness.

"Wait a minute, how did you, in the first place, find out that I had a crush on her?" Soarin narrowed his eyes towards Rapid.

"Pfft, you were too predictable" Rapid snorted and shrugged at him.

"Am I that obvious?" Soarin furrowed his brows in frustration.

"You are.."

"Oh shut the fuck up! I'm already so confused." Soarin said.

"Maybe I was right, this was just too much for you to take.. anyways, you should get some sleep to get your mind cleared and so should I." Rapid said as he yawned so damn loud that Soarin had to close his ears.

"Ugh, just get out.." Soarin pushed him out of his room and slammed his door shut. He grinned when he heard a muffled "so much for helping you with your love" coming from Rapid Fire.

He was really frustrated and he had to get his mind cleared. So he needed sleep. He just fell on his bed with a 'thud'.

Today was too long. he hated it.. except the fact that he got to know about Rainbow and the time he spent with her. He wished tomorrow might be somewhat better. Because who knows, what tomorrow holds for him?...
