-few years later-
Dash sat in her usual spot in the cafe, waiting for Soarin to come, as he had told her that he has a secret to tell her. he seemed too happy for some reason and Dash couldn't tell what it was.
she saw him go back and forth, serving all the customers their respective orders. she saw how hard working he was. she really admired him for that. he really loved his job and he definitely wouldn't mind doing hard work for his beloved job.
this cafe has been his comfort place ever since he was here. he thanked spitfire for that.
speaking of jobs, Dash had something to tell him too. she wouldn't really consider it a secret because she came to know about it a day ago. she was really happy. and she couldn't wait to tell Soarin about it.

Soarin's shift was over and the first thing he did after that was, to grab his lover's hand hurriedly and take her out of the café. Dash yelped as she was dragged away from the shop.
They were running and running as Dash, once again kept on questioning him where they were heading to. and Soarin, as usual, was tight lipped.
Eventually, they ran out of stamina. so they were walking currently, as Dash was whining about her legs hurting. Soarin groaned and simply lifter her up, bridal style, and continued walking till they reached their desired place.
He kept going, and he stopped all of a sudden. the place was cold and comforting. it was grassy and the grass was wet, the fireflies flying there being the only source of light along with the moon shining beautifully.
He gently laid her down as Dash gaped at the scenery. They were near a small pond. this place smelled good too. This whole place was overall aesthetically pleasing and was comfy too.
Dash stared at the moon, which was shining oh so brightly, as if made for them, as Soarin stared at Dash as he wondered how did he ever get someone so perfect as his partner.
Dash was flustered as she felt Soarin's gaze on her. she hesitated and slowly turned to look at Soarin, only to find him looking at her carefully, observing and taking in all of the pretty details on her face.
He gently cupped her face and leaned in, connecting their soft lips.
The kiss was soft and gentle. not rushed. as soft as the petal of the flowers that existed there. and as gentle as the rays of light that was being casted on the lovers, by the moon.
They stared into each other's eyes as they parted. Soarin was the first one to speak out after that.
"Love, will you be with me forever?"
"Of course. what kind of question even is that?" She replied.
"Forever as we grow old together and watch our kids grow up and learn from us, as they say "you know how our dad is with mom. and vice versa. they cannot live without each other for one moment!" as we laugh and share every single moment and emotion of our life with each other?"
Dash was tearing up by now as she stood up and saw Soarin kneeling on one of his knees, reaching for something in his pocket.
"i know this was very simple and not grand. i really wanted to show everyone that i was about to own you soon. i wanted to do this in public. but i guessed you dont like too much attention for these kind of stuff... so, Rainbow Danger Dash. Will you marry me?" He asked with pleading eyes.
"YES! OH MY GOD, YES YES YES!!!" Dash said as she jumped on him and attacked his face with lots and lots of kisses. Soarin was overwhelmed with joy and so was Dash.
They stopped for a moment and shared a small kiss. Soarin then put the ring on Dash's ring finger as she let out tears of joy.
"okay... so how are we gonna go home now?" Dash wondered.
"uhhh, i kinda forgot the way back. i just stopped here randomly because this place had water and looked nice." Soarin blurted out.
Dash gave him a flat look as Soarin looked dumbfounded.
"oh, you little brat-" Dash said as she chased him all the way to their home.
