I am afraid of the dark
So hold my hands
When I close my eyes
While I fight my demons
Stay and be the force
And when I open my eyes
Promise me you'll be there
Holding my hands smilingWalk with me down the road
My conscience scares me
In my insomniac nights
Sing me a lullaby, hold me
In your arms lay my solace
Stay while I fall asleep
And when I open my eyes
Promise me you'll be thereAnd if I get lost in my dreams
Hold my hand and bring me back
When I lose hope for life ;become
The strength of my weak soul
Into the oblivion when I fall
Accompany me in my voyage
Be my home where I return
Promise me you'll never leaveCome with me to the cosmos
Like the moon shine over me
In the clouds when I lay; sustain
On your wings my shallow self
Hug me tight and never let go
Hold my hand while I fall asleep
And when I open my eyes again
Promise me you'll be thereC.
