You promised me
Sitting on the old bench
At the railway station
Waiting for the train
That was to take you away
That you will call me
That you'll tell me you're safe
And your journey was smooth
You promised me
That you'll not forget
No matter how hard
Your work treats you
You'll tell me about it all
That you will call me
And tell me that you miss me
That your lonely days are sad
You promised me
And I think you don't remember
But tell me how do I forget
The promises of forever
How do I tell you that
I am still waiting for that one call
For you to tell me they weren't lies
And to tell you that I miss you
I am still waiting
That you will call me
And tell me that you miss me
That your lonely days are sad
