CHAPTER SEVEN:
Lost Black

CALLISTO HADN'T QUITE BEEN THE SAME SINCE SHE PASSED OUT. She was drowsy most of the time, even occasionally oversleeping or falling asleep during class, and that hadn't happened once in the first four years she had spent at Hogwarts. Callisto thought it was strange, she had even been eating chocolate every day, and it wasn't making a difference this time.

After she had disclosed why she was so badly affected by the dementors to Harry Potter and some other members of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, most of them had steered well clear of her, even George. It became very awkward when the two were in Astronomy or Transfiguration, and although she didn't want to admit it, she missed George's random chatter and how he so easily made her want to laugh.

Callisto kept telling herself that it was a good thing that he was practically ignoring her, that's what she wanted, right? That's what she wanted originally, but now that it was gone she desperately wanted him to crack a joke or smile at her, or anything really. She tried so hard not to think that way, but now that he wasn't speaking to her, she couldn't stop thinking about him.

The Lestrange had managed to oversleep just a little on the day where she'd planned to go to Hogsmeade, but she knew that Adrian and Marcus would be at the Three Broomsticks where they had agreed to meet.

Just as she was heading to the Clocktower Courtyard, she saw the Weasley twins drag something seemingly invisible into one of the stairwells. Unsurprisingly, Callisto wanted to know what they were up to.

"What are you doing?" she heard Harry yell at the two who desperately tried to quiet the younger boy. Callisto saw Fred give Harry a piece of parchment, it appeared to be blank, she was lucky the three of them hadn't even noticed that she was there. "What's this rubbish?" Harry asked, asking what Callisto was thinking. The twins just laughed.

It was then that Callisto realised that Harry was the invisible thing they were dragging, she looked down to see a cloak that was pooled around his feet. She guessed that it was an invisibility cloak, one of the only things you couldn't buy.

"'What's this rubbish?' he says. That there is the secret to our success," Fred said with a chuckle. Now Callisto was desperate to know what it was.

"It's a wrench giving it to you, believe me!" George said.

"But, your needs are greater than ours," Fred finished. "George, if you will," Callisto saw George pull his wand out from his jumper.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good," George said before tapping the piece of parchment with his wand. Callisto could see Harry's eyes light up in disbelief, but she couldn't see what had happened to the piece of parchment.

"Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are proud to present the Marauder's Map," Harry said, reading from the parchment.

"We owe them so much," George said with a grin.
