"I want to learn how to do parkour."

"I want to go to Namsan tower."

"I want to hear my song in the radio."

"I want to be your best friend forever."

These are some of the lines Jungkook wrote on the letter that came along with the voice recorder he gave me on the night of our betrothal. Funny that I used to think that we actually got married when it was only an engagement ceremony.

But that was also the last time I saw him.

The last line is the most significant. It's the only thing I held on to up until now.

So I found him. What now?

I don't know what to do. Him suddenly popping up on my face is wrecking my brain.

Would he recognize me? Seven years is long. Many things had happened. I mean, look at him. He's changed. He looks great. Gorgeous even.

Ugh. Dae Eun-a! The name Jungkook and the word gorgeous cannot be in a single sentence. It doesn't add up and it's just a little absurd.

Maybe he won't recognise me. Or maybe he will?

Oh damn nerves! Why am I suddenly so nervous?

Nearly everyone already introduced themselves, Bo Gyo and Sun Shin included, except for me whose body is shaking so bad right now.

Never have I ever thought that introductions would be this nerve-wracking.

"Thank you for that very short intro!" Min Seo Jun claims the stage again, cutting off our classmate's long speech. He seemed unapologetic when he frogmarched our classmate back to his seat.

"Is there no one else?" He then asks us all. "Come on! I can see you. We're brothers and sisters here, there's no need to be shy!"

"Yah! I think sunbaenim's pertaining to you." Sun Shin nudges me with her elbow.

I hesitated.

"Seriously, just go there already." Bo Gyo deadpanned.

Finally, I stand up and step into the light on the stage.

"Come on up to the stage!" Seo Jun claps. "I don't bite."

"I might though," some random guy from somewhere shouted, and the crowd jeered.

I check to my right and see Jungkook. His head was bowed and his forefinger was busy tracing something on the floor.

Why hadn't I seen him earlier? Was he late? Was he hiding?

I peeled my eyes off of him and scan the crowd. Choi Areum was looking at me. She was smiling but something was off. Her smile looked forced and fake. Her friends were whispering behind their ears and only stopped when they saw me looking at them.

Great. Really great.

I heave a deep sigh and closed my eyes before saying, "Kim Dae Eun, Freshman, um, I-"

That's it. I couldn't utter another word.

"Hobbies and interests?" Min Seo Jun asks encouragingly.

My eyes automatically look at Jungkook again, his chin resting on his now entwined hands. He appeared to be bored.

He doesn't even look at me. I just announced that I'm Kim Dae Eun, what in the world is wrong with this guy?

"Kim Dae Eun-ssi?" Min Seo Jun snaps me out of my thoughts. "Your interests?"

"Are you interested in boys?" One of the seniors asked.
