Chapter 5

It was Saturday. Noah was taking Olivia on a date finally. I've been waiting for this moment for a while now.

" You got your keys and wallet" I asked.

" Yes" he said checking.

" Go get flowers on the way to her house so they're fresh. She likes roses" i said.

" okay thanks again kid" he said.

" No prob your like a big brother to me" i said.

We hugged and he walked out the door. I sat on the couch and started to scroll through Normani's Instagram again. She is too fine to be a teacher and to be with Arin. I decided to take a nap to get her out of my mind.

I woke up to knocking on the door. I groaned and got up. I walked to the door and opened it. There was a Gorgeous melanin girl in front of me. I was just staring.

" Hey Uh we're having a party across the street and we ran out of sugar but my friend said she knew you guys here and would probably give us some" she said with a small smile.

" Uh Uh yeah I could" I said running to get what she asked for.

I came back with the sugar and she smiled at me.

" Thanks" she said taking it from me.

" No problem" i said staring at her.

" Well hopefully I see you around sometime" she said looking me up and down then walking away.

" Wait... Whats your name" I asked.

" Ryan" she said then walked away.

I shut the door and went back to the couch then sat down.

" Ryan.." I said with a small smile.

Time Skip

It's been a few weeks since I saw Ryan. I was kinda hoping I would see her again but I never did. She looked a bit older than me but shittt. Noah wanted to go out to eat so I agreed to go.

" So kid how's life found a girlfriend yet" he asked as we walked in.

" No but I'm kinda hoping of seeing someone again" i explained.

" Does y/n have a crush.." he said smiling.

" No it's just-"

" Hi how many" the waitress said.

I looked up to see the girl in my mind.

" Ryan hey" i said smiling.

" Oh hey.. I never caught your name"

" It's y/n" i said.

" It's good to see you again is it just you two" she asked.

" Yeah it is" Noah answered looking between the two of us. I think he put two and two together because he smiled.

" Well let me get you guys seated" she said walking away.

We followed her and sat down.

" Anything to drink" she asked first.

" Uhh just a sprite" i said.

" same as her" Noah said.

" Okay I'll be right back" she said smiling and walking away.

" That's her" He asked.

" Yeah she knocked on your door 2 weeks ago asking for sugar saying someone she knew said they knew us and would give them some" I said.

" Well I give you this she is good looking but she definitely looks older than you" he said.

" Okay and I'll find out her age-"

" here's your sprite and what would you like to eat" she asked.

" Just a cheese pizza will be fine" Noah said.

She wrote it down and went to walk away.

" Wait... Uhh how old are you" I asked.

" 23 why" she asked.

" No reason" I said looking down quickly.

She nodded her head and walked away.

" Kid she's not much older than you.. Go for it" he said.

" What if she shuts me down Bruh jeez I'm 18 in two weeks but she might not want to take the risk" I said.

" Just do ittt" he said.

" I don't want to hear that it took you about a year to ask Olivia out and it was obviously you liked each other" i said.

" Shhh" he said ignoring what I said.

I laughed. Eventually the pizza came and we ate. I still haven't made a move on her. She brought us the bill and it had something on it. It was her number and it said text me. I smiled and got my phone out and typed it in my phone. I sent her a quick message and put my phone back into my pocket.

" I actually enjoyed going out tonight.."

" That's a first" he said as we dropped some money on the table and a tip.
