Chapter 9

Ryan and I have been vibing. Normani and I haven't said a word to each other since that day.. Well more like she tries to talk to me and ignore her and act like she isn't there. I walked into Noah's class room and saw Mia,Liam,Noah,Olivia, Arin, and Normani in there.

" Noah" i said messing with his hair.

" Hey kid I haven't seen you for the last two days and you weren't there when Liam went to go pick you up this morning" he said swatting at my hand.

" Yeah sorry about that Liam Uh Ryan actually decided to get me this morning because she wanted to have breakfast before she went to work" i said with a small smile.

" Hmm and this so called 'friend' of yours when can we meet her" Mia said.

" she is my friend and whenever she doesn't have work" i said.

" Well hopefully soon" Liam said.

" Well I have to go it... Babe you coming" Arin said putting the emphasis on babe.

" I can't Noah and Olivia are helping me with planning" Normani told him.

" Oh okay" he said obviously upset.

He leaned down and placed a kiss on her cheek. I rolled my eyes and walked to the middle of the classroom. I sat in one of the desk and kicked my feet up. I leaned back a bit in my chair and relaxed. I didn't have class for the next two periods so I was just gonna nap. I felt my body slowly start to relax and I went to sleep.

I was woken up by someone touching me. I opened my eyes to see Liam. I stretched a bit and took my feet off the desk and looked at him.

" Spill what's going on between you and Normani" he said

" Nothing is going on. She's just my teacher/ friend just like the rest of you guys are" I said lying.

" Your literally lying to me.. I'm not stupid y/n now what happened" he said.

I shrugged and looked away from him. A few seconds later I felt my head fly forward. He just smacked the shit out the back of my head. I whipped my head towards him and stared at him in shock.

" You gonna tell me now or do I gotta smack you into next week" he said raising his eyebrows at me.

I rolled my eyes. " we kissed and everything was fine until she told her friends that she regretted the kiss" i said folding my arms.

" Well maybe she didn't mean it.. you out of all people should know things fly out of peoples mouths when they're scared" he said.

" But what is she scared of" i said with a small attitude.

" Maybe she's scared that she kissed her student did you ever think about that. She can be thrown in jail because your not 18 or you didn't graduate" he explained.

I never really thought about that. I was in my bag so much about when she said she basically regretted the kiss that I didn't think why.

I groaned and face palmed myself.

" People always do things with a reason behind them y/n... Now talk to her now" he said getting up and walking towards Noah. He whispered something to him and Mia.

" Olivia why don't you help us go get some food and Normani you watch y/n for us please". He said quickly getting up and so did the others.

I sighed as they walked out the door and closed it behind them. She never turned around and looked at me. I needed to be the bigger person in this situation because it's basically my fault it's like this.

I stood up and walked to where she was sitting and leaned on one of the desk behind her.

" I'm sorry for acting the way I did Normani" I said to her. She didn't react to what I said so decided to keep going.

" I was upset that you basically told your friends that you regretted the kiss but I didn't think of your reasoning behind it. That was selfish of me and I'm sorry" I finished.

" I didn't regret the kiss you know" she said.

" You didn't" i said confused.

" No I was just scared so I just said that...I liked the kiss" she mumbled the last part.

" oh" i said feeling bad for ignoring her.

She stood up and went to her bag that was sitting in the other side of Noahs desk. She started grabbing some papers and stuff and I Just got this wave of boldness came from but I walked over to her as she stood up an turned around. I cupped her cheek and brought her into a kiss. She kissed back after being shocked for a few seconds. It was passionate and we pulled away when air was needed. Her eyes were still closed.

" I definitely don't regret that" she mumbled.

" good" I said pecking her lips and going back to my seat. I sat down and looked up and she was watching me. I raised my eyebrow and she just shook her head and sat back in her seat.

" we got ( Whatever food you want)" Noah said walking into the room with it.

" good cause I'm starving" i said.
