chapter 18

" ryan do you think you can give us a second" she asked her.

" yeah if you need anything i'm in the other room" she said giving me a smile.

normani walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed.

" y/n" 

i wouldn't look at her.

I heard her sigh.

i closed my eyes and felt her get up. i felt soft hands on my face but I kept my eyes closed still.

" y/n can you look at me please" she begged.

i let out a breath and opened my eyes, her brown ones staring at me. she ran her finger over the cuts on my face.

" do they still hurt" she asked.

" the one on my lip yeah but everything else doesn't feel too bad" i said barley above a whisper.

she sighed.

" y/n-"

" liam wanted me to see if-... oh um"

ryan was staring at the fact that normani was that close to me.

normani kept her hands on my face and was calm, but me? i was panicking.

" nothing is-"

" i was just checking her cuts out ryan, you did good at keeping them closed" normani said finally taking her hands off my face.

ryan didn't respond.

normani turned around and they had a stare off.

no words exchanged but the look on ryans face didn't look too happy.

ryan did she say- oh uh whats going on here" noah asked looking between the two.

" nothing.. y/n tacos?" ryan said turning her gaze towards me.

" yes please" i rasped out.

" okay ill bring them to you soon... normani can you help me grab a few things so she's a lot more comfortable now that she's up" ryan said.

" gladly" normani replied.

both girls walked out of the room and noah walked towards me.

" what was that about?" he asked.

" ryan i gotta finish this last thing then im all yours" i chuckled.

" finish it later i'd like my girlfriends attention for more than five minutes" she huffed out.

it's been a few weeks since the incident and im almost back to one hundred percent.

im currently trying to finish the last of my school work because noah is coming to pick it up tonight but ryan is not having it at all. she's been trying to get my attention all day and it'll work for a few minutes then I remember why I'm sitting here and get back to work.

i finish writing out my answer and before I could even make sure what I wrote down the paper was snatched out my sight.

i looked up at Ryan and she gave me an innocent smile.

" you done?" she questioned.

" yeah b-mmmh" I was cut off by her lips crashing into mine.

i immediately stopped caring about the paper. I closed my eyes and her hands rested on the sides of my face.

our lips moving in sync and full of passion.

we both pulled away when air was needed.

" what was that for" I said trying to catch my breath

" just because" she said trying to catch hers also.

i gave her a small smile as she let me go and started walking out the kitchen.

she got to the walk way and stopped. she looked over her shoulder.

" you coming?" she asked.

" you will be" i said standing up.

she chuckled before walking out the kitchen.

i followed her into the room with a smirk on my face.
