Amelie's Point of View

I woke up, in my own bed this time, and checked the time. Only thirty minutes until class? I'm so fucked!

I quickly got out of bed nearly slipping and falling onto the floor beneath me, "Fuck."

I quickly changed into day clothes and brushed my hair out. I quickly went into the bathroom, brushing my teeth.

"Oh hey Amelie," I heard Victoria say from behind me.

"Hey," I said waving.

"You heard about the new bitch?"

"She's not a bitch at all Victoria," I said. "At least she didn't seem like one to me."

"Please, she took a picture of me covered in paint!"

"Why were you covered in paint?"

"I don't know, I think that weirdo guy Samuel."

"That sucks, did you provoke her?"

"Me? Provoke her? No."

"Yeah right Victoria," I laughed.

"Did you see the video I took of Kate Marsh?" She snickered.

"Absolutely not, that's so fucked up Victoria," I said looking her up and down. "I'm running late to class. Catch you later V?"

"Yeah sure," She rolled her eyes. "What-ever."

I went back to my dorm to grab my bag before racing to class. I made it, just in time.

"Welcome today, Class," Mrs. Grant began, "You're my third class of the day, so bare with me since I'm starting to get a little tired-"

"Yo! The girls' dorms!" People were calling from the hallways.

Everyone started to get up out of their seats and follow the mob of Blackwell students that led to girls' dormitories.

"Please, my students, just settle down, I'm sure it's nothing!" Mrs. Grant called over the chaos.

Soon enough, I found myself following the crowd.

"Oh shit," I heard amongst the crowds.

I looked up at the roof where everyone seemed to be pointing. And there stood Kate Marsh. She was about to jump. She took another step closer to the edge.

"Fuck," I said to myself, was there anything I could do to help?

Keeping my eyes on Kate, I watched as she turned around. She seemed to be talking to someone. Was that Max Caulfield? What was she doing up there with Kate, was she helping her?

Most people were quiet, but others were shouting. I couldn't make out what they were shouting because I was so sucked up into what was going on up on the roof with Max and Kate.

There was security rushing and EMTs. I was genuinely so nervous what the outcome of this would be. I looked down at the ground, afraid to look up.

"Amelie!" Called Warren.

I turned around, Warren was a few feet behind me, "What's going on?" He asked.

"I-I don't know," I said nervously. "I think Kate's gonna jump.."

"Is that Max up there?" Warren asked.

"Yeah.. I think she's helping Kate."

"Shit," He said running a hand through his brunette hair.
