Your POV
The next day~
Mack and addi never came back.
10k stayed up all night keeping watch, I tried staying up as long as I could but eventually I fell asleep,
I wake up to Warren yelling from down below, "time to go! We got some gas!"
10k is gathering some things, "why didn't you wake me?" I ask getting up from the floor,
He turns around, throwing his sniper over his shoulder, "you're adorable when you sleep, and besides, you barely sleep." He replies,
"You watch me sleep?" I raise an eyebrow,
"No, no, I didn't mean~"
"I'm kidding."
"Yeah, I knew that."
Warren yells again, "you two trying to get left behind!?"
He heads down the ladder first, on my way down I ask, "like the view?"
He chuckles, but doesn't respond.

"Puppies and kittens, 500 yards out!" Warren yells,
Everyone starts to scramble to the truck, when I see Murphy, I reach the truck near the same time as him,
Frantically I come up to Murphy, "where's duke?!" I ask,
"I thought doc had him." Murphy responds before shutting the truck door,
I turn around to doc and 10k scrambling to the back of the truck,
"Doc, where's that dog?!"
"Get in the truck!" Warren yells,
Doc hops in, duke is nowhere to be seen,
10k hops in, I'm the only one not in the truck, Z's are getting closer,
"We gotta go!" Warren yells, "NOW!"
"10k?" I look at him in a desperate state of panic,
"Y/n, I'm sorry, we gotta go, now."
He jumps up from his spot, and takes out his gun, quickly shooting two of the closest Z's,
As if on que, I hear loud barking, each bark louder than the next, the barks sound panicked, and far away,
"You guys go, just leave without me!" I turn to run after the noise, trying to avoid the half a dozen Z's running this way,
"No way! Y/n! Wait up!"
"If you're leaving, I'm coming too." Doc tells 10k,
"No, no, stay here, this won't be the last time you see us, we'll find you, I promise."
without waiting for response he bolts after me,
The truck speeds off and our hunt only begins.
