Dahlia stood in the dark broom closet, buttoning up her white uniform shirt and putting her skirt on the right place again. Adjusting her hair, she looked up at the boy in front of her who had a smirk on his face while he buttoned up his shirt as well.

"Did you see my tie?"

Turning around, he glanced at the ground where both their ties were discarded. He grabbed them, handing her the one with the Ravenclaw colors on it. She quickly put it on, tying it as neatly as possible.

"Does my hair look normal?"

"Yes. Just a bit messy."

"Then fix it for me."

He rolled his eyes, getting closer to her and running his hands through her hair in order to fix it.

"You're such an arse sometimes."

"Fuck off, Zabini."

Scoffing, she quickly got away from him as soon as he had finished fixing her hair. She grabbed her wand from the shelf and turned on the handle of the door.

"I'll see you next Thursday. Same time. Same place."

She gave a quick glance at him again seeing him give a small nod as she opened the door and made her way out.

Dahlia wasn't one to typically do these types of things. But that was before everything else happened. The battle. Her sister. She needed some sort of release from all the stress of the weeks and she found that in Blaise Zabini. They weren't dating. Heavens no. Dahlia couldn't even begin to imagine the disaster it would cause in her life. Especially with her friends being so judgemental about this kind of stuff. With a Slytherin as well. They would try to make her change her mind. That's why they both decided to keep it a secret, only meeting at a certain day and a certain time. Once a week. Sometimes when one of them would feel stressed from the day, they would send a secret letter so the other would know when to meet them.

Dahlia made her way to the Great Hall for dinner, sitting next to Padma as she put a small quantity of food on her plate. She wasn't really hungry that night. Much like the others.

"Hey, where were you?"

"I had to talk to Professor Slughorn about the homework."

Padma eyed her suspiciously before dropping the subject and going back to her food. Dahlia would usually lie about where she was on every Thursday. It was getting very hard to create a new lie and she knew Padma was starting to catch on something. Maybe she would talk to Blaise about changing the days so it wouldn't look too suspicious.

"Ms. Brown, may I speak to you?"

Dahlia had just gathered her books and put it in her bag. She turned around to see Professor Slughorn at his desk. She nodded, slinging her bag over her left shoulder and taking a seat at one of the tables at the front as she waited for him to speak.
