Dahlia turned around a lot in her sleep, waking up a few times during the night, not entirely able to fall asleep fully. The images of the night running through her head.

She watched from the small window, the sun finally rising, giving the room a shade of orange. The sunlight felt warm against her skin as she finally sat up on the bed, putting the pillow behind her so she would be more comfortable resting her back at the end of the bed.

She didn't know how long she kept staring out the window, looking at the way the leaves moved because of the wind and the birds flying close to it, but soon, the orange shade had disappeared and instead the room felt a lot colder.

Madam Pomfrey walked in the hospital wing, tending to another student who had to stay the night as well, in the far corner.

Dahlia watched as the door to the hospital wing opened and two girls walked in, making their way towards her bed.

Padma hugged her tightly as soon as she was close enough, making Dahlia let a small laugh escape her lips as she hugged her back.

"We wanted to see how you were doing before we had to go to our classes."

"I'm great. As great as I can get."

Padma gave her a sympathetic smile before Parvati went and hugged Dahlia as well, smiling at her.

"I'm glad you're okay, Dahlia. Everyone was quite worried about you."

"I appreciate it guys, but I'm completely fine now so you two don't have to worry anymore."

The twins both rolled their eyes at Dahlia's words, before Parvati started speaking again.

"You are our best friend, Dahlia. Of course we'll worry about you."

"Yeah, you know we love you, right?"

Dahlia smirked slightly, looking down at her hands as she played with her fingers.

"You might have mentioned it once or twice."

"Good. Because we do."

Looking back up at them again, she smiled eagerly to both before Madam Pomfrey came around, shooing them out of the hospital wing so they could go to class.

She started checking up on Dahlia, asking a few questions about how her night was. Dahlia tried her best to give only enough answers that would be able to get her out of there soon enough, but Madam Pomfrey still wanted her to stay one more night in there just in case.

So the teachers were warned that she wouldn't be attending classes that day, which was unfortunate for Dahlia. She hated missing classes and even though she didn't enjoy all of it, she still found it enthralling learning everything she could.
