Dahlia was making her way to the Potions classroom for her weekly tutoring lessons to Ron. She made her way five minutes earlier like she always did, even though he would normally show up late.
Carrying a book under her arm that they would use today, she opened the door to the room, slowly. Upon closer look, she noticed someone was already there, looking through a book.
"You're early."
He lifted up his head to stare at her, giving a small smile towards her.
"I've been here since five. Had to clear my head."
Nodding, she placed the book down on the table, sitting on the chair next to him. She opened up the book on the potion she had chosen to teach him today.
"You're doing the Anti-Paralysis Potion. This one takes a bit longer than the ones we usually make in class but only a few hours. So we might have to stay for longer tonight."
"That's great. A good reason to stay out of the common room."
He mumbled before turning to look at her book. He got up from the chair, going to the small storage place in the room. He brought all the ingredients to the table along with the small cauldron.
Dahlia had her left elbow on the table, her head leaning at her hand while she stared at him placing the things on the table. Even though she was sleeping all night because of the potion, she still felt exhausted and her body felt heavier. She had dark circles under her now red eyes. It seemed like she hadn't slept in days.
She knew she looked terrible and sick like, but she couldn't do anything about it nor did she care. She brought the book closer to her, looking through the instructions of it before sliding it away and standing up from her chair.
"First you have to put on the bloodroot and then…"
Dahlia closed her eyes, trying to remember what came next, placing her hand on her head.
"The Dandelion Root?"
"Right! The Dandelion Root. And just heat it up for five minutes."
He put the things inside the cauldron while Dahlia sat down again on her chair, staring at the wall near the entrance of the classroom with an empty gaze.
"Are you alright, Dahlia?"
She snapped out of the staring, looking up at him with the same empty gaze she had. He was staring down at her, concern showing up in his features while Dahlia only nodded her head before looking back to the wall.
He waited the five minutes before calling her again. She only looked back at him, closing her eyes in deep thought before saying what else he needed to do.
