Chapter 22 The meeting in the storage

"Sorry I'm late, is everybody here?" I heard Haru say as he slid the storage door and walked inside. "What took you so long, man? I could have—!" "Don't you dare say it!" I put my ear closer to the wall. "Anyway Aito pull out a chair for Haru, Chiko stop talking about your lover, and Dai please stay silent." The captain said, "sit down Haru," I heard Haru sit down, "now this meeting can commence, Haru how are things with Itsuki? Were you able to give him the poison?" The captain asked.
"I was able to put it into a cola can, I asked him if he was dating anyone and he told me no so I left, I'm pretty sure he drank it but I haven't seen him all day." I felt my throat, "we can ask the others if they saw him and what happened to him, so don't worry, what about our spy Dai?" "After sending her after him I haven't seen her yet, I think she's still following him, I tried texting her but she wouldn't respond." I got up and started to look around my surroundings quickly, I looked at the bushes, the trees, and the grass. I couldn't find anybody near me, at least I now know to be extra careful whenever I'm sneaking around. I place my ear back to the wall, "he just needs to come to us and we'll give him the ultimatum to get into a relationship with Fumino, I have no idea why she wants them together, but if they don't then that'll give all of us and the rest trouble." The captain started to speak louder sounding concerned.
"We'll give him by the end of today to come to us, if he doesn't, then we'll go to him, we're basically telling him to either become Fumino's boyfriend and live, or to die, this will be easy for us!" I then heard Chiko start to say something, "why wouldn't he want to be in a relationship with Fumino? She's hot as hell but compared to my girl she's below," I felt Chiko smiling. "Bro nobody cares about your girlfriend shut up!" "I care and don't you tell me to shut up asshole!" They both yelled at each other. "Silence!" The captain shouted as the two followed orders, "Now then, let's continue, if Itsuki doesn't come to us and we can't find him, then he'll die, Ichika made sure of it when she made the poison.
"Ichika made that! Oh he's dead, wait doesn't that make us murderers! What if we get caught, I can't go to jail. I have future plans! If I would have known he'd die then I wouldn't help out with this!" Aito yelled as I looked down at the floor. "HEY LISTEN NOW!" The captain got up making his chair fall to the ground. I listened as the captain got closer to Aito. "Were in this together now! There's no backing out, the only thing I have in life is soccer, and if we can't compete in tournaments and games then scouts can't find me! I have the worst grades out of all of you in here but I excel in physical activity! I'm the best player at this school! You better grab your balls and carry them all the way through this plan, if not then I'll shove poison down your throat!"
The captain finished, I could feel Aito shivering with fear, the others looked at him in silence, "Chiko! Talk to Ichika about hiding and destroying the evidence, Dai! Get in contact with your spy and get more information, Haru! Try and find Itsuki and make him see you, tell him where we're at, he'll come to us, and Aito! You better not tell no one about this you got that! You're so useless! You're only in this club because of your lucky shot!" The captain said, "yes sir" everyone but Aito responded, "is that clear!" He looked at Aito, "yes sir," "okay good, meeting is over, Chiko, Ichika said she'd be in the science room for the remainder of the day so when you finish talking with your girlfriend go to her." I heard Chiko stand up from his seat and walk closer to the door, "yeah, yeah, captain, I won't let you down," he said, "alright everyone else you should leave as well, but Aito stays behind," the captain said in a serious face.
"The next time Chiko talks about his girlfriend I'm killing him I swear!" Dai shouted as he left the room. I watched as he met up with Chiko, they started to argue. "Captain we won't fail you, for the soccer club and everyone else," Haru put his hand in a fist bump to the captain. The captain said nothing and fist bumped him back. "I'll see you later," Haru said as he left the storage unit. "Now then! To make sure you don't rat us out," I heard the captain start to crack his knuckles.
"Akuhei please don't do this!" Aito walked backwards with fear, "this is to make sure you don't rat us out!" Akuhei yelled out loud as I ran quietly to the door and watched what was happening inside. Akuhei hit Aito in the jaw making him fly to a cabinet inside, "please stop!" Akuhei threw him to the ground and began to start beating him with no mercy, Akito began to cry as he screamed. I stood there helplessly watching, I couldn't ruin my plan, Akuhei stood up and grabbed a chair, "PLEASE STOP!" Akuhei started to slam the chair back and forward onto Aito as he screamed in pain and blood came out of his mouth and nose. Please stop doing this, I clenched my fist. "I WON'T TELL ANYBODY!" Akuhei started to laugh as he kept beating Aito with a chair. Akuhei then felt a hard punch on his left cheek as he fell to the floor, he felt his check and looked at what hit him. "Itsuki," he said angrily, then he saw my neck brace and started to laugh. I couldn't say anything, but I went straight at him, he swept my leg making me fall to the ground, I almost hit my neck but my arm managed to soften the blow. I screamed inside my body as the pain from my throat increased.
"You know that hurt right!" Akuhei walked forward to me on the ground, he kicked me repeatedly but I couldn't scream, I couldn't say anything, Aito observed and looked gloomy. When Akuhei stopped he bent down near my face and grabbed my head, "listen now, you have by the end of tomorrow to date Fumino, if not then you'll be dead." Akuhei started to laugh then quickly looked at Aito with a dark look, you know what will happen to you, do you?" Said in a dark tone. Aito grabbed onto his head as small tears came down, "yes, captain." "Good! Now then," Akuhei kicked me one last time, "by the end of tomorrow," he said as he left the storage room leaving me on the ground feeling pain, and Aito having a mental breakdown. I sit up and start to look at Aito.
He's shivering and holding onto his head as he continues to cry, I get my phone and go to my translating app, I put on text to speech. "Why are you guys doing this?" My phone said, he looked straight at me, "you're the reason this is all happening!" He started to snap, "if only you went out with Fumino then none of this would have happened!" He stands up and starts to laugh while crying. I type out a sentence and press the speak button, "it's not my fault, it's principle Hina she's the one that started all of this."
Aito starts to stomp this foot on the ground multiple times, I look down at the ground, "why don't you just go out with her! Why don't you! It will stop all of this!" He yelled at me, I typed out another sentence on my phone.
"I can't, I just can't I'm sorry, I really am, but I can't go out with her, but you know what we can do?" He started to pay attention to me, "what can we do?" He laughed a bit but not by humor, I started to type again on my phone. "This school is corrupt and I need your help, the first thing I need to do is get the antidote for the poison, then I'll tell you the rest, please help me!"
