Chapter 23 Step 1

"Are you sure this cure will work?" Chiko asked Ichika as I hid in silence behind the door, I need to get that cure no matter what, but first I need to get more information about it. "What do you mean, 'Does it work,' of course it works, I made it myself!" She said feeling offended. "I'm sorry I'm just checking in to see if it works or not," Chiko looked away from Ichika, "alright then," she handed him a small bottle filled with liquid then sat down in her chair. Chicko nodded and walked near the door placing his hand on the lock. I quickly get into a position to run into the next room. The door opens half way till I hear Ichika say, "if this ends up working, will the science club be saved?" Chiko turned around, "that's what principal Hina said." He responded.
"If this works out, how long can the science club be up for?" Chiko looked away from Ichika, "I'm not sure, I don't have all the answers, all I do is follow commands from the captain. It's a real shame that we all have to do this to save the things we love, if only this could have been a regular High School, we wouldn't have to worry about much, we would just have to focus on grades and hang out with our friends, be in a club without worrying about much." I hide myself behind an empty room near the science club. "That's all," Ichika said as Chiko nodded and went outside sliding the door closed as he looked to the ground.
"I only have a few minutes left before lunch ends, I can't see her now so I'll just head to class." Chiko sighed. Now that Chiko left I can finally go through with the plan, I stop hiding and head to the science room door and slide it open revealing myself. Ichika turns to look at me, "what do you want from the science club?" She said looking at my eyes seriously, I got out my phone and went back to my translating app. "I need the science clubs help," my phone said out loud.
"What do you need help with?" She asked, keeping her eyes locked onto me, "I need a certain cure that only you can cook up," Ichika stood up from her chair and went to slide the door close, "whatever do you mean?... what's your name?" She said as I quickly typed, "My name is simply Itsuki Hiro, and I have a day and a half left to live, I know you know who I am." She started to look at her lab tools, "whatever do you mean?" She asked. "Your poison did this to my neck," I pointed to my neck cast, "Who told you I did that?" She asked, "I found out by myself, I overheard your conversation a while ago," she started to grin, "and what if I say no?" She walked towards me, she was my size, had C cups, long grey hair that reached her butt. I got out of my translating app and went onto a voice recorder app on my phone. I played the recording then got out the translation app, "when I was spying on you guys a certain someone gave me some advice to record the conversation to use as evidence." Ichika started to laugh, she held onto her stomach as she slammed her hands onto the table, "Aito told you didn't he?" She said as my facial expression changed. I betrayed Aito, I should have never said that part, maybe I can play it off? I go back into my translating app, "who the hell is Aito?" She looks at me still laughing, "I'm the smartest scientist in this school, I can easily tell, stop trying to deny it." She stopped laughing.
"How did you know?" I asked, Ichika started to laugh again, "I didn't know you just told me!" I felt fear around my body, how could I be so stupid! I fell on the floor and started to slam it as my neck started to burn, I grabbed onto it. "Please help me," I typed into my phone, Ichika bent down close to me revealing her panties, I didn't take my eyes off them, she stood back up and kicked my face, I fell entirely on the ground as my neck burned up even more. "Don't judge me on not helping you, I'm only doing this because I have something I need to protect, this is the first time I've ever talked with you, wait is this even a conversation? You're using your phone to talk to me so sure let's call this a conversation. Anyway, you might not know this but I'm the only person in the school that's in the science club." I feel my face as I pay attention to her, "I joined last year when I was a freshman and this club was packed with many students from different grades, but eventually most got bored and quit the club, others started failing in classes so had to leave. The seniors were the ones in charge, I looked up to the captain, he stayed in this club right until him and the other senior club members had to graduate. I had a really great time here, they showed me how awesome science can be, while I was in this club I studied like crazy, aced all my tests and quizzes in science to a point where I didn't care about my other grades. Then some people started to call me a genius, people would talk to me and ask me for help by tutoring them."
Ichika started to walk around the room, "I felt happiness because of this science club, I found my true purpose in life even though I'm just 16, I want to pursue a science career when I'm older, I want to go into medical science so I can create cures for diseases and viruses to help others. When this year began no one was interested in me or this club anymore, they moved on, I've been alone here every day of the year up to now, Christmas is only in 2 months and I've been preparing on something that will blow away people, I plan on doing it near my home where a festival will take place. I already have permission to do it, my plan is to show it so that people around can take a video or live stream it on social media, that could attract many news stations that could come to interview me, I'll respond to them and talk about the science club and how we're all doing stuff like this everyday. News will spread around quickly and the science club will receive a lot of  popularity, people will start to join left and right, I have a lot of activities planned that will amaze them." She started to look at me on the ground with a heartfelt face, "the only way I can do that is if you date that Fumino girl, but you haven't yet, because of you other clubs have to suffer, we've been told that if you don't date Fumino then our club budgets will be gone entirely, that I would lose this club. We questioned it at first but many of the captain's of those clubs didn't want to lose their clubs so they started coming up with a plan. I'm assuming that you've only come into contact with the soccer team and Science team am I right?" She asked. I nodded my head, "Principal Hina said that whoever were to convince you or make you date Fumino would get half the clubs budget from each one, this didn't benefit me since it would be time before my club was removed, but the soccer team came to me first and asked for my help. I told them that it didn't benefit me and why should I even try. Akuhei then spoke to me alone and told me, 'I'll talk to principal Hina, if she's able to keep your club up for a few months will you help us?' I agreed, a few hours later during lunch period he came back to me and told me that Principal Hina approved only if the soccer club and I were to get you to date Fumino, Akuhei and the 3 others came to me, he asked me to make up some sort of poison that can't be traced, one that's not in any medics records. I told him it would take some time, they then left, you know it was way harder making the poison then finding the cure? Using my science skills I managed to make one up, by you drinking it your throat would burn up making you unable to speak, your throat would keep burning until your tongue falls off and you die. I gave it to Akuhei who gave it to Haru, and based on what they told me you drank it, I don't know much after that but today when I got to school I immediately started working on the cure, I just gave it to Chiko." She walked towards me and touched my neck, the bell rang, "I'm sorry, but you better make your decision before the time is up." She said as I stood up and left the room.
