No one was here the next day, it was 4 pm as I layed in bed, everything hurt, my throat was sore, I could only get up for a little bit of time. The girls left yesterday at 8 pm when I was asleep. I don't know if it was a good thing for me to get sick since it stopped all the fighting. This feels like a break but filled with pain. "Ding, dong," the doorbell rang, "ding dong," I got up from bed and walked downstairs, I went to the door and checked the peephole. I see a girl taller than me with dark purple hair, a D bust size and pretty eyes. I recognize this girl, she's the school president, why is she here though? I open the door and she smiles at me.
"Hello Hiro I'm Himari Chiyo, I'm here bringing you your homework," she said, "oh thank you," I said as I covered a cough with my elbow. "Oh, you're still not better? Well that's a shame, do you have anyone taking care of you?" She asked as I looked away from her embarrassed, "no, no one is here." She looked surprised, "ohh, well I hope you get better, your homework is in the bag," she said handing me one of the two bags she was holding. The bags were tied closed; you couldn't see anything inside until you opened them.
"Once again thank you very much for bringing me my homework," I said as I grabbed the bag, "well goodbye for now," she said, I said goodbye back then went inside. I placed the bag on my kitchen counter and went back upstairs, I layed on my bed and fell asleep. I was too tired to do my work, I was too tired to do anything. I woke up and felt better, I could move without feeling pain, I looked at my alarm clock and saw that it was 8 pm. I didn't feel tired, I got up and went downstairs to the kitchen, I decided to do my homework then go back to sleep so I could wake up feeling healthy.
I opened up the bag and saw no paper, no assignments, no packets, all I saw was a pair of girl school clothes and shoes. Did she give me the wrong bag? I looked around the bag and saw a purse inside. Shit, she gave me the wrong bag. I closed the bag up, went to my room to change, came back downstairs with my house key and phone, grabbed the bag, and left the house. If the clothes were the only thing inside the bag I wouldn't have to return it immediately but since her purse was in I have to return it now. My only problem is that I don't know where she lives, I got out my phone and texted Uzami.
"Hey this is going to sound a bit weird but do you know we're our school president lives?" I walked over to the station waiting for a text back, "uhh why do you want to know?" Uzami texted back, "I need to return something to her," "I saw her earlier today getting some work from Mrs. Hyomi, is this related to that?" Uzami asked, "yes, now please tell me if you know we're she lives," I responded.
"Hold up im going to email Mrs. Hyomi and ask her," I walked around inside the station waiting for a reply, I sat down on some seats and used my phone for 6 minutes when Uzami texted me back, "Mrs. Hyomi said she lived in xxxxxxxxx" "thank you," I replied. Since she lives there I took the 3rd train and went inside. I sat down on the train seats and used my phone. When I arrived at the stop I got out and followed the directions that Uzami sent me.
I only know what trains to take, I don't know anything about my surroundings, good thing I have a GPS, there were many stores opened, I haven't eaten in awhile so I went to the nearest Mc Burger and got myself 2 cheesburges. After finishing my meal I continued to walk, cars passed by, the sky became darker, the temperature dropped. I was nearly there, I crossed the streets as I saw a familiar looking girl talking to a police officer.
I walked closer and saw Chiyo there, "please I live here I wasn't trying to break in," Chiyo pleaded, "do you have a house key or any identification?" The officer asked, "I'm telling you I lost it somewhere, please I'm telling the truth you got to believe me!" Chiyo said, "I'm sorry but I'm going to need you to come with me to the station," I walked over to them, opening the bag and pulling the purse out. "Excuse me, I think this belongs to her," I said, handing the purse as the two of them look at me. "You gave me the wrong bag Chiyo," I said as she grabbed the purse.
"Thank you Hiro," she said as she pulled out her house key and opened the door. "See I do live here," Chiyo said as the police officer took off his hat. "I'm sorry for this misunderstanding," "don't be you were just doing your job," Chiyo said as the police officer said his goodbyes and left. "Hiro thank you, like a lot, I don't know what I would've done in that situation," "You handed me the wrong bag so I had to come here and give you yours," I said as I smiled.
"How did you know where I lived?" She asked as I nervously looked away, "uhh I got your address from Mrs. Hyomi," I lied. "Oh well here's your bag," she said handing me the bag in her hand, "here's yours," I handed her the bag I had. I felt weak, shit, It was cold out, I was shivering, not again. I coughed, I lost balance and I fell to my knees coughing. Chiyo kneeled down next to me and touched my back, "I forgot you were sick," she said as I continued to cough, "yeah, I felt better after a nap," I said coughing. "After I left your home I went to my part time job then came here, I feel terrible," she said, "don't be, I did this by choice," I said with a sore throat.
"Can you make it back home?" She asked as I tried to get up slowly, "yeah I think I can," my legs couldn't handle my body weight, she helped me get up.
"Why don't you stay the night at my place?" She asked blushing, I looked away trying to hide my embarrassed face.
"Are you sure? What about your parents?" She walked me inside her home, "my parents are dead, I live with my older sister," I looked at her, "I'm sorry," I regretted what I said, "well there's nothing you can do about it," she said as she sat me down on her couch. "I'll go bring you a blanket, you'll sleep on the couch," she left and went into another room, her home was warm, her couch was soft, she came back and brought me a big blanket, I grabbed it and wrapped myself with it.
"So what's your plan for tomorrow?" She asked, "I'll tell one of my friends to go retrieve my uniform and to come over here." I said as she stood there looking at me, "my big sister works at night so you don't have to worry about anything," she said, "thank you for letting me stay the night," I responded. "Consider this my thank you for bringing my stuff back," she said smiling, she then left the room. I grabbed my phone and texted Uzami, "I need a favor," "what is it?" Uzami asked.
"Do you remember where I kept my spare key?" I asked, "yeah you keep it under a flower part, what about it?" He texted. "I'm here at Chiyo's place and I can't make it back, I left my house to give her bag back and I got more sick so I'm staying the night over here." "So what does that have to do with me going inside your house?" He asked, "I need you to bring me my uniform," I texted.
"You want me to wake up earlier than usual, go to your home, retrieve your uniform and school supplies, take the train over there, and hand you your things?" I looked at his text and typed, "yes please." "You owe me big time for this," Uzami texted as I put my phone down and slept.
