Chapter 18 Confrontation

I got onto a train and immediately called Uzami, he didn't pick up the first time so I kept calling him till he picked up. "What the hell do you want!" He screamed over the phone as a mother and her child looked at me, I smiled at them. "Hey Uzami you don't have to go to my home and retrieve my stuff, you can just sleep in." "How am I supposed to sleep now? Geez you're such a pain in my ass I swear, all you do is cause me trouble." I checked the time and saw that it was 7:30 am, I still have time.
"I'll make it up to you, I'll treat you to some ice cream after school," I said, "first you steal my crush, then you wake me up to tell me not to complete a favor, and all I get is some ice cream?" I smile nervously, "that's all I have for right now," "fine, but I'm choosing the place." "Yeah that's fine, thank you for everything, even if I caused you harm, thank you for continuing to be my friend." "Yeah whatever bro," "later," I said, "later," he responded, I hung up my phone and started texted Fumino, "hey, did you just wake up?" I know it sounds bland but I just need to make sure she isn't at my house.
No response came, when I arrived at my stop I ran out the doors as the mother and child were surprised, I ran to my home without stopping as my heart beat drastically and my sweat rained onto the ground. When I arrive at my home I walk towards the door, pull out my key, and open it. "I made it in time," I sighed, I walked inside and went into my bathroom were I left my dirty clothes onto the ground, I wore nothing but my underwear, I took a small shower and went into my room.
I changed into my uniform and got all my belongings when I heard a knock at the front door, I went to open it and saw Fumino standing there with her hand behind her back.
"I came here yesterday at night to find you missing, why?" She asked as she knocked me onto the ground as I smiled at her, "I went out to run an errand," I gave a small laugh, "bullshit, you were sick and weak!" She screamed at me as I got up. What should I tell her? I'm not going to tell her the truth since that will kill me, maybe I should compliment her? "Tell me, love," she revealed her knife and got closer to me, I don't have the metal ball, I can actually die from this. I have to risk everything, if not then I did.
My heart started to beat like crazy, I stayed still and looked straight in her eyes, "you have really beautiful eyes you know," Fumino blushed but kept a serious face, "flattery won't work on me," she said as I panicked in the inside, my face was stone cold, she put the knife near my neck, I slowly grabbed her arm that had the knife and pulled it down.
I face forward to her and our lips come into contact, both of our eyes met, she then closed them as she dropped her knife, she fell onto the floor as she touched her lips, she looked straight at me as I presented a calm face. What the hell did I do! I don't know why I did that. She stood up still feeling her lips, "schools starting soon, well be late, we should really leave now," I said as I walked out the door as she kept staring at me silently, she followed me all the way to the station where she had a smile on her face as she kept touching her lips.
She sat next to me on the way to our stop, she placed her head onto my shoulders, I could hear her heart pounding, I grabbed onto her shoulders and held them tight, I hadn't noticed her beauty till now, just for today I'll hold her in my arms, just for today I'll let her stay by my side. Just for today I'll let her be happy by my side.
We arrived at our stop, I got up and grabbed her hand, we ran from our stop to the school trying to make it in time before classes began. "You go on without me, I have to do something quick," I said as she stared at me. "What do you have to do?" She asked seriously, "I have to do something quickly," I ran off as she stared at me, I arrived at where the metal ball was and grabbed it, then turned it on. "What are you doing over here?" Fumino asked standing behind me, I quickly hid the metal ball in my pocket as it glowed, I can't let her see it. "I'm about to urinate," I lied quickly and embarrassed.
I unzipped my zipper quickly, "oh, why did you just do it inside?" She asked blushing, "hey can you go away, I can't pee when someone watches," I said, Fumino looked at my back then at the ground, "ok, see you at lunch?" I turned my head to see her, "yeah see you at lunch," I turned my head back as my face turned red. She left and until I couldn't see her I zipped my pants then looked at the metal ball. It stopped glowing, I put the metal ball back into my pocket and walked towards the school. "Hey! Classes started a few minutes ago you're late!" The pe teacher screamed at me, "I'm sorry Mrs. Himari," I said as I faced the ground, "report to the principal's office at once!" she screamed at me, I walked past her nodding as she pulled out her smart phone and texted the principal. I walked to the principal's office and passed classes full of students, I knocked on the door.
"Come in," principal Hina said as I opened the door and let myself in, once inside the room I saw Chiyo sitting in a seat in front of her desk. "Hello Hiro," Chiyo said as she stood up, "I didn't expect you to be here," principal Hina placed her hands on her desk, "you two know each other?" "we're friends," I blabbered, Chiyo instantly turned to look at me, "what do you mean we're friends?" She asked acting surprised, I stood there embarrassed, "oh so are you two friends or not?" Principal Hina asked. "No, we're not friends, I don't know what Hiro is talking about, we just met yesterday and mixed our bags, that's all that happened." Chiyo walked out the door as I stood there in silence. "Come sit down," Principal Hina pointed to the seat that Chiyo was sitting in before. I followed her order, "now, tell me, why are you late to school?" I stared at the ground, "I woke up late and had to rush over here," I picked my head up and looked at her, "your not the only one who came late you know, Mia Fumino came in a few seconds late before you, we quickly talked it out since she told me what happened once she came in." She smirked at me.
"You might not know it but I know a lot about you, ever since a certain accident occurred that revolved Fumino, I've been keeping an eye on her, she's mostly been going after you everyday. Since then I've been tracking your every move around my school, what I can tell, you're really popular with the lady's, 3 girls cling to you every single day. Now I'm going to make this short and easy, go out with Fumino," she said.
I stood up and slammed my hands on her desk, "what? Why!" I screamed at her face, "I need her to be happy, I can't tell you why though, let's just say me and Fumino have a special kind of bond." I sat back down on my seat with fear, "I need you to become her boyfriend," I put my hands on my head, "I can't, I just can't do it," if I do become her boyfriend then Yua would kill me, Icho would go after me no matter what, and I can't help Chiyo with her problems.
"I figured you'd say that, you're surrounded by so many girls you can't choose one," she said, that's not the problem, I just want to live a peaceful life and graduate. "If you don't become her boyfriend, I'll make things harder for you in every way I can, I control everything in this school, all the clubs could attack you, you could be given a bunch of work everyday, your teachers can fail you any second." She smiled at me as I looked at her with fear.
