Chapter 32 Step 10

The breeze that came and went made everything cold, the breeze was even able to make any animal who had the most fur on their body get chills. Flames and smoke arose from the sky as conversations were being had deep inside a forest. The fire was only able to warm up so little as the breeze in the air was fighting to blow out the fire. No matter how hard it tried the fire kept going even if the wood was getting all burnt up more wood was added. Owls and crickets made loud noises that would annoy even the most peaceful person alive. It was entirely dark except for the little bit of light that the fire gave. Around the fire there were ten people sitting around it, all but one were shivering because of the temperature. The fire showed only the face of one individual who sat higher than the rest. The individual watched over them and asserted dominance, the individual was the leader of the group, the one that called all the shots.
Eating noises echoed through the Forest as some people had small loaves of bread and grape juice, the individual didn't mind that they were eating in the middle of the meeting, the individual was quiet and just stared at them as they ate, talked, and made jokes. When the individual knew the right time, they stood up, the moment they stood up from the log they were sitting on it made a creeking sound. Everyone around the flames looked up at the individual, they stopped chewing and put their food down, they were all confused, the individual didn't say anything but just looked at each one of them, the people around the individual stayed quiet no matter how awkward it got, then the individual opened their mouths and was about to say something till the breeze came again and moved the trees out of place, the breeze has another round against the flames, the flames kept their guard up and won as the breeze went away.
"One of you is betraying me," the individual said, the others then looked around at each other, one person then asked, "what do you mean?" The crickets started to get louder as the breeze came back, the individual looked around seeing every persons face, "right now, one of you will ruin the plan, right now, one of you is giving intel to our enemies, right this instant, one of you is betraying me," the individual said. Everyone started to look around, some stood up, one said, "hey why the hell would one of us do something like that!?", another said, "whoever's the rat just show yourself already!" And the last person up said, "the plan happens together, don't screw this up for us!" The individual raised their hands as the flames gave little light so everyone could see, the three who stood up sat back down onto their logs, they sat there quietly as they watched the individual say nothing.
"I understand why this person would do this, I haven't treated them like I've treated the others," the individual said as they turned their head to look at someone, the person who the individual was looking at couldn't be seen through the black night sky, the flame showed the individual's serious face. "I already know who will betray me, 4 of you in here should also know, we all know why we're here, to discuss our plans, but I think we should do something else. I have a game for you all, since 4 people here should know who it is, if the 4 who don't are able to figure out which person out of the 5 is the traitor, then the traitor will be allowed without anything happening to them, continue betraying me, but if the traitor is found, then this rat will have hell to pay, we'll make the traitor pay the price for trying something, we'll make them scream in mercy to make us stop, we'll make them live with death for a short period of time. Now if the traitor reveals themselves, we'll still give them hell, but we'll stop when a certain amount of blood is shed, we'll stop when some bones are broken, we'll stop, eventually, now then."
The individual said as 5 people looked at each other, "before the game begins like I have mentioned, traitor, reveal yourself now, if not then when your found, you will regret ever even thinking about betraying me," the individual sat back down onto their log as the flames showed his face, "you 4 get over here," 4 people stood up and walked over to the individual and stood beside them, one of the person who walked over their has longer hair and better facial features then the other two. "Let the game begin," said the individual with a smile on their face as the flames showed it to everyone around the fire.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, why do we have a traitor among us!? This is complete bullshit! If one of you is the traitor then hurry up and reveal yourself you asshole!" Someone said, another person then yelled, "what the hell!? How do we not know if you're the traitor you sack of shit for brains!? I ain't the traitor so it must be one of you 3 dip shits!" Another person took offense and started yelling, "why would I betray you all!? I've been loyal ever since I got to this shitty school, I've helped you all with cleaning and let you all copy my homework and test answers! If anything you three are the traitors!" The last person didn't say anything, the last person just stared at the individual as the flames revealed the individual's face once again. The cricket's got louder, the owls start to hoot but this time even louder, and louder. The 3 keep yelling at each other forgetting about the fourth person, their voices echo through the forest as they get louder and louder but never louder than the crickets and owls around them.
So much noise starts to go out into the air that dogs just listen to the sounds instead of sit up and bark to attract other felines to comfort their boredom, the yelling, the crickets, and the owl start to sound like screams that a horrible scary creature would make in horror movies, the loud sounds would make anyone mad if they stayed there for too long. Even after all the loud sounds that were coming out of the forest the individual stared at the argument without moving, so did the person next to them with long hair and a better facial structure then the other 3, meanwhile the other three covered their ears and started complaining saying things such as, "shut the hell up dumbasses," "hurry up and choose the right person already!" "This hurts my ears so badly it makes me want to cut them off and throw them far away from this place. Even after all the complaints, the louder the crickets got, and the louder the owls hooted, the 3 who were arguing, deciding who the traitor is, didn't stop, the last person was sweating, the last person knew it was about time that they got caught, but the last person kept their face, the last person didn't say a single word and just stared back at the individual who was staring first, the individual who was smiling every time the flames from the fire lit up their face, the crickets and owls got so loud that even people outside the forest could hear. Then the three who were arguing closed their mouths and stopped talking, they sat back down onto their logs like obedient servants. Even after the 3 sat down the crickets and owls made noise, the last person who was already sitting down looked at the individual who was standing with their hand raised up into the air as high as they could, the individual looked at the 4 in front of them and smiled as the four saw because of the light from the flames. The individual then opened up their mouth, at that moment the crickets and owls stopped making the loud noises that they had been making for such a long time, they stayed quiet while the individual was trying to say something. "I've grown bored since you all haven't been able to find the traitor, the traitor wins," the individual said as the 3 people got mad but couldn't do anything, the last guy said nothing. The breeze came and was even colder and windier than ever, "the traitor is him," the individual pointed at the last person with the small light showing everyone. The light then disappeared because of the breeze that had won the battle.
