Sakiya was in the classroom with team 7. They were the only team left waiting for their new sensei and it has been three hours.

"Where could he possibly be?" Sakura asked. Naruto was trying to play a prank on him by sticking an eraser in the door.

"Naruto, he couldn't possibly be fooled by some stupid trick like that," Sakura said snobbishly. Naruto grinned and got down off the chair.

"Well, how would you know. If he falls for it then he isn't a true Jounin." He said. Sakiya was at the front of the class sitting in a seat. She felt like her team wouldn't be able to get along. Her sister was obsessed with Sasuke, Sasuke was quiet and rude to everyone, and Naruto was sometimes childish. She wanted to get along with them and work together but she didn't know how to yet.

Breaking Sakiya out of her thoughts, the door opened. The eraser fell on the man's head. At this, Naruto laughed.

"HAHAHA, he totally fell for it!" Naruto yelled, pointing at him.

"I'm so sorry sensei! I told Naruto not to do it but he just doesn't listen!" Sakura said, trying to be a suck-up. Their new sensei sighed.

"Well, my first impression of all of you... Are that you're a bunch of idiots." He said. Everyone sweatdropped at his statement.

"Meet me on the roof." He said and disappeared. Sakiya looked at where their sensei just stood.

Wow, that was cool!" She thought and followed everyone to the roof. As they sat down on the steps, she felt someone slightly push her. She looked over to her right and saw that Sakura was glaring at her. She wondered why until she noticed she was about to sit in front of Sasuke. She slightly moved over next to Naruto.

"All right. How about you guys introduce yourselves." He said.

"What should we say?" Naruto asked.

"How about your likes, dislikes, hobbies, dreams for the future. That kind of thing." He said.

"How about you go first, that way we know how it's done," Sakura said. Sakiya felt her face deadpan a little. How hard of an assignment can this be.

"Let's see. My name is Kakashi Hatake. My hobbies, I have a lot of hobbies. My likes and dislikes, I don't feel like telling you. My dreams for the future, never really thought about it." He said in a bored tone.

"That was a blow. All he really told us was his name." Sakiya heard Sakura whisper to her. She nodded in agreement.

"How about we start with you. The blonde." Kakashi said, pointing to Naruto.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki. My likes are ramen. My dislikes are the five minutes you have to wait for the ramen to heat up. My hobbies are trying new ramen at Ichiraku ramen. My dream for the future, to become the greatest Hokage! That way people have to look up to me and treat me like I'm somebody, somebody important!" Naruto said the last part with pride. Sakiya felt herself smile. She knew that people were rude to him. She wished she could have been there more for him.

"Okay, next," Kakashi said, looking at Sakiya.

"My name is Sakiya Haruno. My likes are sweets, reading, and gardening. My dislikes are when people are rude to my friends and family. My hobbies are reading, gardening and studying history. My dream for the future is to become a strong Kunoichi." She said with a small smile. She heard Sakura slightly laugh at her as if she was making fun of her. Sakiya slightly looked down. Kakashi noticed this but didn't say anything.

Sakiya blocked out the rest of the introductions. She was feeling down about herself. Sakura was always like this to her in private, but never in public which made her sad. As she came back to the group she heard Kakashi talked about the survival exercise they were going to have tomorrow. Everyone said okay and started to leave. As Sakiya got up from her spot, Kakashi called her over.

"Yes, Kakashi-sensei?" She said. Kakashi put a hand on her head.

"If you train hard and don't give up, you will become strong. Believe me when I say this. I know that Sakura can be tough, but she's your sister and you have to live with her on a team now. Just make sure personal things don't get in the way of training and missions." Kakashi told her in a soft tone. Sakiya smiled and nodded. She didn't want to let her team down.

Instead of going home, Sakiya went to the training grounds. She wanted to see if she could do any jutsu in the book she was reading. She crouched down by the water's edge and opened her book. The first practice technique was to try and create a water bubble and hold it. She knew she had to start somewhere. She did the hand signs and waited. Nothing happened. She did it again. Nothing. She huffed and looked at her reflection in the water.

"Why won't it work?" She said to herself.

"Because you aren't focused enough." Sakiya flipped around to see Sasuke standing in the clearing. Her eyes widened.

"I am focusing though." She said. Sasuke walked up to her.

"Not in the right area." He said. Sakiya looked at him with a confused look.

"What do you mean? Not in the right area?" She asked.

"You are focusing on your hands. Not the water itself. For example, when I do the Fireball jutsu, I focus my chakra into my throat. So, when you want to do a water style jutsu you need to focus on the water. If you are doing a water technique that is similar to the Fireball jutsu, you focus chakra into your throat." He explained to her. She looked down into the water and tried again. This time she focused on trying to pull a bubble of water out of the pond. The water bulged upward but didn't come up. She released her hands and sighed.

"It's okay Sakiya. It's going to take time. It took me forever to learn my first jutsu." He said. Sakiya was surprised. She would have thought learning a new jutsu was easy for him.

"I would try again in the morning. For now, you should go home and get sleep. We need to be here at six in the morning and the sun has already set." He said and got up and walked away. Sakiya followed him with her eyes. She didn't understand why he was being so nice to her. Her sister was obsessed with him, so she thought that maybe because of her sister that he wouldn't want anything to do with her. Sakiya smiled. She figured that maybe her and Sasuke would be friends one day.

She picked up her book and walked home. Sasuke was right, they needed to be up early tomorrow and she needed to be wide awake and energized for the exercise they were going to do. She already thought about what was going to happen and she knew it would have to deal with them working together. So, hopefully, they could pull together and pass.
