Team 7 made it to the tower. They had an interesting trip. Naruto and Sakura were going to open the scrolls at one point but got stopped by Kabuto, then they traveled with Kabuto and got trapped in a Genjutsu by the same ninja they met at the beginning of the exams. It was fun.
"Finally, we're here," Sakiya said. She was tired. She hadn't slept hardly at all these past three days.
"Well, this is where we part. It was nice being with you guys," Kabuto said.
"Hopefully we get to see each other again!" Naruto said, saying goodbye to Kabuto. They walked into their assigned room. Sakiya looked up to see a giant board on the wall.
"If you do not possess Heaven, gain knowledge and be prepared. If you do not possess Earth, run through the field and seek strength. If you open both Heaven and Earth scrolls, dangerous paths turn into safe ones. This is the secret of something something. It shall lead you on your way." Sakiya read out loud.
"What does the last part mean? It's not finished," Sakura said. Sakiya took the scrolls out of her pouch.
"Maybe we can open the scrolls now?" She asked. Sasuke nodded. She opened them and threw them on the ground. A poof of smoke came out and when it dispersed, Iruka- sensei was standing there.
"Hey, Iruka-sensei?" Naruto questioned. Iruka had a smile on his face.
"I'm proud of you four. I knew you would pass," He said.
"Um, Sensei? What does the quote on the wall mean?" Sakura asked. Iruka turned to see the board.
"If you do not possess Heaven, gain knowledge and be prepared. This is referring to the mind. So, if Naruto's weakness is his mind then he must gain knowledge and be prepared for missions. If you do not possess Earth, run through the fields and seek strength. This is referring to the body. So, if Sakura's weakness is stamina then she must train her body. And if you have both Heaven and Earth. You can succeed in even the most dangerous of missions," Iruka said looking between Sakiya and Sasuke. Sakiya understood this.
"But what is the part that is blank?" Sakiya asked. Iruka looked back.
"The blank is what you do with your path. Where do you want to go? What must you do to accomplish your goal? The blank area is for you to fill in," He said looking back at the team.
"Now, you have passed the second exam. So, you can go into the arena for instructions," Iruka said. The team had a collective sigh of relief. They got up and walked in through the door. They saw that Team 10 and Team 8 were there. Along with other ninjas from different villages. They went to their designated spot and waited. Sakiya stood in front of Sasuke. She turned around.
"Sasuke, what do you think the next exam will be?" She asked him. She noticed he was holding his shoulder.
"I'm not sure. I bet it's probably going to be sparring against the other ninja," He said. She saw him wince.
"Hey, are you okay? Is the mark hurting you?" She asked him in a soft tone.
"I'm fine. Just don't say anything," He said.
"I wasn't going to. You're strong and smart. I know if you aren't able to do something then you would make the right decision," She told him. He looked down at her. His eyes were soft when looking at her.
"Thank you, Sakiya. I appreciate it," He said softly. Except her sister had to step in.
"Sasuke, you shouldn't be fighting. I'm going to say something," She said and started raising her hand. Sakiya grabbed her hand and put it down.
