Sakiya and Kabuto had been walking for a while now. Sakiya didn't think they were in the Land of Fire anymore. It didn't look like the Land of Fire.
"Where are we?" Sakiya asked.
"We are in the Valley of the End. On the outskirts of the Hidden Sound Village," Kabuto told her.
"Where is the hideout?" She asked.
"I can't say anything out in the open. Trust me, I am taking you to the hideout," Kabuto said. Sakiya understood that. As they were walking, they heard noises. Kabuto and Sakiya stopped walking and hid.
"Conceal your chakra and make sure you aren't heard," He said quietly. Sakiya nodded and concealed her chakra. As they sat in the bushes, she saw two Leaf shinobi and an Anbu member.
"I think they came this way. At least this is how far I tracked her scent," One of the shinobi said. As she looked, she saw that it was one of the Inuzuka clan members.
"You don't think she actually left with Orochimaru? Do you?" She asked.
"I don't know. She's thirteen and has a mind of her own. Her sister is worried about her though. I've never seen Sakura that worried before," The guy said. It sounded a lot like Kakashi. She moved a little to see the other face. It was in fact, her sensei. She could feel her heartbreaking. She felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked over to see that Kabuto had a heartfelt look on his face. They waited until the ninja left and Kabuto could no longer sense their chakra. They walked out of the bushes and continued on.
They made it to the statues that were a part of The Valley of the End.
"This is where Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju battled," Sakiya said out loud.
"Yep, this is where it took place," Kabuto said. He had looked down at her and noticed she was still wearing her headband.
"You know, you are a rogue ninja now. You don't have to wear that headband anymore," He said pointing at the band around her neck. She reached up and touched it. She realized that the moment she took it off, it was set in stone. She couldn't return to the village. She untied it from her neck and put it in her back pouch. She felt vulnerable without it on.
They jumped across the statues and landed on the other side. They were crossing over to the Hidden Sound Village. It was just a few more steps and they would be there. As they entered the Sound Village, Kabuto started talking to her.
"Lord Orochimaru created the Sound Village because he wanted to collect ninja and learn everything about jutsu and techniques," He said. Sakiya thought about it.
"But why take interest in me? I don't have any Kekkei Genkai, I don't have any powerful jutsu, and I'm not even that strong," She said. Kabuto chuckled.
"You sound like me when I was a kid. I didn't have anything special about me either. When Lord Orochimaru took me in, he taught me how to use medical ninjutsu and helped me become who I am today," He explained. Sakiya looked up at him.
"So, am I going to be spending most of my time with you? Learning medical jutsu?" Sakiya asked. Kabuto nodded.
"That seems to be the case for now. When Sasuke gets to the hideout you two will start training together," He said. Sakiya nodded. After that conversation, it was silent for a while. They had made it past the statues and were to the Hidden Sound border. Kabuto stopped and looked at her.
"We are at the border. If you want to turn back now, you can. But once you cross here, there's no going back," He said. Sakiya looked down. She was fighting an internal battle. She didn't want to leave, but she felt it was the right thing to do. She looked up at Kabuto.
