Meadows filled with beautiful flowers in the spring;
the light crisp air signals that the blooming season is in full swing
All alone in a field of green;
it draws me near to a place so serene

Floating butterflies swarm all around before me;
speckles of gold from the sun glistens in my eyes
I feel the slightest touch of breeze, swinging through the trees
A sudden release of weight lifted off my shoulders; because like an elephant, I was carrying a boulder

I am now smothered by the glorious scenery in the best possible way
I take a moment to let it sink in;
feel the warmth against my skin
To contemplate as I inhale the silence as it brings me peace

Bringing me joy, not sadness;
the kindness temporarily puts me in paralysis
It envelops my heart, my soul;
the light shines through right from the start

Sounds of nature travels for miles;
it forever slaps across my face, a smile
No matter where I go;
out in the woods or in my home

The instant I look across the distance,
to the great beyond;
Nature is like Nirvana, it takes me to a place;
