Y/N POV:

It was no secret that Happy and I were together. We just...fit. Everything that was thrown my way from the club I could keep up with and cover them. Happy was loyal to the club and I was loyal to Happy. If he was ever in some deep shit, you bet I was there to bail him out. He was the first person I've ever fell in love with and vice versa. He's never met someone who can keep up with him, be loyal to him, want him for who he is, or be able to throw dark and nasty humor back to him. I didn't need protection because I can carry my own, but it was nice to know that someone did have my back. Happy was damn glad I would always have his. I'm not conceited but I knew my worth and I wouldn't settle for less than what I deserve. Happy may be a criminal and a killer but when you're in a life style like what the Sons are in, you have to be all in. Maybe that's what drew me to Happy. Loyalty.

Happy's POV:

I'm telling you guys," Happy began as he and the rest of the Sons were sitting in the chapel, "She's one in a million. She's a real badass. She doesn't take shit from anyone and God help them if they piss her off or say some bad shit about us especially me. She's loyal to me and to the club. The last person who spoke badly about us wound up in the hospital for 3 months and learned about broken bones that I've never even heard of. She's the one for me." Happy told the guys.

"I believe you but we need to make sure she would never rat on us and that she lives up to your word. I know just the perfect plan..." Jax trailed off.

Y/N POV:

I walked into the club house and noticed some of the guys were in the bar part and others were in the shop.

"Y/N come here for a second." I heard the voice belonging to Rane say from the garage.

Rane was a big guy but he was a total softie once you got to know him. I made my way to the garage and noticed all of the guys working on the cars.

"Yeah?" I asked him curiously.

"Why are you with Happy?" Rane asked bluntly.

I became confused and slightly angered by the question.

"Why the hell are you asking me that when you know the answer Quinn!" I growled defensively. I failed to notice that the guys had stopped working and were now focusing on us.

"You could do so much better than him. You deserve so much better than him." Rane had the audacity to say to me.

I could feel my face getting hot from my temper rising.

"Oh fuck.." Jax whispered but I heard it.

Happy's POV:

I was slightly scared for Rane because I knew how bad my girl's temper could be and how her strength intensified when she was angry.

"Oh fuck.." Jax whispered.

I knew it was going to end badly.

"You fucking prick!!!" She screamed before running forward and slamming her shoulder into his stomach causing him to fall onto the garage floor. She raised her fist before punching him square in the jaw, a small crack could be heard as she raised her fist again. We both know she can be dramatic and impulsive sometimes but she hates it when someone insults me. I stood frozen as she punched him hard a few more times before Tig and Opie pulled her off of him. Rane was in pain but he tried to hide it. His face was already bruising.

"DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT SHIT TO ME AGAIN! YOU DARE CALL YOURSELF HIS FRIEND?!" Y/N screamed at him, her face still red. I walked over to her once I unfroze and hugged her. I felt her loosen up once she felt my touch.

"I love you." I muttered to the short and temperamental girl.

"I love you too." She told me still angry.

The guys helped Rane up off the floor. He looked at her and smiled.

"You were right, man. She is loyal and does love you. Holy shit she's strong." Rane chuckled before wincing at the pain in his jaw.

I noticed Y/N slowly lose her temper before looking at him confused.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"The guys were wanting to make sure you were loyal to me and to the club and you wouldn't betray us." I told her as I wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

I watched as she facepalmed at her previous actions.

"Shit I'm sorry Rane. I should take you to the hospital." She told him feeling guilty.

"That's not necessary. Jax called Tara already and she's bringing her medical bag." Rane gave her a small smile.

Tara came in a minute later leading Rane back inside with Jackson following in pursuit. The rest of the guys went back to work. I lead Y/N outside to the picnic table.

"I'm so sorry that we put you through that. The guys just had to make sure you were serious." I told her while running a hand over my head.

"I forgive you guys. I know this lifestyle isn't easy and you can't trust just anyone. I'm also sorry for what I did to Rane. I'm so temperamental and sometimes I become so violent. I need to get that fixed so I don't get out of control so easily." She said sadly before looking down, her eyes welling up with tears.

I quickly stood up in front of her and grabbed her face, forcing her to look at me.

"Baby, that's just who you are but if you want to try to get your anger under control then I will support you and make sure you get the help for it. You know what?"

"What?" Her eyes made contact with mine.

"I don't love you like I used to. Every day that passes I love you more and find new things about you to fall in love with. I won't be soft around anyone that's not the guys or you, mainly you. I can't let the guys see all the shit I let you see." I told her as softly as I could. I let my hands slide to hold her cheeks, keeping her face looking up at me.

"Kiss me. Please, just kiss me." Her voice whispered desperately.

Without any other words, I did what she asked and roughly kissed her. I knew she understood my love for her. For her, actions speak louder than words.
