The recruits

I'm going to start putting what Caitlyn says in quotations so I won't have to say I said over and over again. 

Eli and I both liked each other, but we didn't want to make it official. Kyler still liked me and would tell Eli he wasn't good enough for me, of course, it didn't hurt me but I knew Eli believed it. I would always catch him staring at me in class, and he would try so hard to hide it. 

I walked with Eli in the lunch line even though I never got food. "Do u actually enjoy this food"? Kinda it could be a lot worse, Eli explained. "It looks nasty". What happened to don't judge a book by its cover, Eli asked. "Oh please." 

I asked the lunch lady if I could have a cupcake. Not unless you pay for it, she said. My mom was drinking all the time so of course, I wasn't going to waste money on a cupcake. "Nevermind" You can have mine, Eli said while winking at me. 

When we started walking to the table I saw Sam Larusso knock over Kyler's plate. Hey guys you know that billboard with the big ass dick on it, I guess sam takes after her dad, Kyler said. I remember Miguel telling me he liked sam, and of course, he had to say something.  

Hey, Kyler why don't you shut the hell up and stop being such an asshole. 

Why did he always have to do stuff like this? Kyler started pushing him,  I knew Miguel wasn't that good to take down that many people. "Kyler didn't your mommy tell you to keep your hands to yourself."

He tried swinging at Miguel but he blocked it, which started a huge fight. It was Miguel and me against Kyler and his minions. Somehow Miguel and I won. Everyone was cheering for us, but then we got sent to the principal's office. Miguel was so excited to tell sensei.

When we got to the dojo there were so many kids, and they were all there bc of me and Miguel. I even convinced Eli and Demetri to come.

I went up to Eli to talk to him." Johnny is mean to most people, just don't take it the wrong way". How do you not take it the wrong way, he asked. Honestly, I don't know. I walked back to Miguel while sensei walked in. 

He walked to Demetri first. Nice shirt. Thanks, Demetri said. I'm kidding it sucks, sensei said. He went on and on making fun of everyone new.

Then he went to Eli, thankfully Demetri stopped him by saying you really shouldn't make fun of someone's physical appearance. I could see it hurt Eli when sensei called him lip, he even looked at me for reassurance, so I smiled at him hoping it would work and it did.

Demetri went on and on and eventually, sensei had enough. He told Demetri to hit him, so he did and it was weak. Senesi flipped him over and Demetri moaned. 

I got yelled at, got my ass beat, and then gave him my money, you know who lives like that hookers. "Demetri just give him another chance, he isn't that bad." Yeah once you get to know him his cool, Miguel added. Uhh, that's hooker talk, Demetri said. 

"Fine u can be dramatic, but Eli please come, I begged. Fine one more day, he said.
