The party

It was a couple of days after the fight at the mall. I decided to end things with Eli. I know his mom said I was his escape, but it looked like he cared more about karate than me. Every time I would walk into the dojo he would get up and flirt with another girl. I know he was just trying to make me jealous but I did it back. I would always flirt with mitch and Chris all the time bc I knew it would make him the maddest. 

He kissed Moon outside of the dojo and watched me break down. So I decided to give him payback. Ethan, he was my weapon. I would flirt with him any time I had the chance. Eli and I always went on runs  together but this time I choose Ethan. I knew being with Ethan would make Eli so mad. 

Nothing happened between us, but I couldn't let Eli know that. I started flirting with Miguel too until Tory found out, I know what I was doing was wrong but I couldn't stop.

Moon ended up throwing a party bc summer was ending. I walked in with right after Miyagi-do. Eli was pissed but I didn't care. For the past week Ethan has treated me like a queen, he told me Eli wasn't good for me. So I was going to find Ethan to get over Eli. 

Mitch forgave me so I sat by him. We started talking and every now and then I would smirk at him to make Eli mad. Eli was sitting right next to him so he would stare at me hoping for a reaction. Mitch ended up leaving so it was just me and Eli.

Caitlyn can we- he got cut off by Ethan sitting down next to me. Hey, Caitlyn, I was looking for you, I was wondering if u want to go dance, Ethan asked. Sure, I said getting up. We danced for a little bit and I could feel Eli's eyes piercing into me.

Mitch was sitting back down by Eli when I heard him say, You want to know the best way to win a girl back, make her want what she can't have. Eli walked up to Moon. 

ELI'S POV: 

It was breaking my heart seeing her smile that big with someone else. I loved her and she was my escape. Damn it I was so stupid to push her away like that. I saw moon walk in. This was my chance to win Caitlyn back. Hey u know the best way to win a girl back, make her want what she can't have, I said standing up walking to moon. 

Hey, Moon u look good tonight, I like ur hair, I said. I like ur hair to it's spiky, she said. Everyone wants to touch it I always say no but u can touch it if u want, I said. She started rubbing her hands through it, I cringed I wanted it to be Caitlyn so bad. 

I looked over to see that Caitlyn was frozen. It was like I broke her. But there's no way I actually broke her.

CAITLYN'S POV:

He let her touch, he never let anyone touch it but me. I was frozen, broken, numb, whatever u want to call it. Maybe he actually cared about Moon. He looked at me and said sorry slut. I looked at Ethan and pulled him in for a kiss. 

I needed Eli to think I was over him. Ethan picked me up and sat down in a chair making out with me. I stopped and whispered I cant do this. Caitlyn, It's ok I know u love Eli, just pretend he looks pissed, Ethan whispered.  

I pulled away and played with his hair so I could still see Eli sitting there.

Demetri walked in and sat next to him. 

You check out the new Doctor Who trailer, Demetri asked. I don't watch nerd shit, Eli said.  You know uh, Moffa isn't the showrunner anymore, Demetri said.

I saw Eli perk up. Wait really since when, is there a new doctor What's he like, Eli asked. She's badass, Demetri said. She, no way, Eli said. Ethan whispered something funny in my ear making me laugh. Eli looked at me. I'd give up man, she's moved on, Demetri said. Defeat does not exist, Eli said. There's that winning attitude that pushed her away in the first place, Demetri said.

I think u need a healthy dose of inner peace It's worked for me, Demetri said. Oh, yeah, Eli said. He stood up and dumped his beer on Eli. 

That's what I thought still a pussy, Eli said throwing his cup at Demetri. Just when I thought he was changing. I ran up to Demetri. I'm so sorry let me help, I said. I helped him get cleaned up and then walked back downstairs. 

I tried to get over it but he was being such a bitch. 

I went to talk to Sam and Robby when I heard someone start talking. Excuse me, I liked to make a toast to Eli Moskowitz, Demetri said. Oh shit, I whispered. Oh, I'm sorry some of u might know him as hawk but underneath that crazy clown cosplay, and whatever type of manic panic he dumps in his hair he's still good old Eli my binary brother, well he was my binary brother, u know what he is now a real zero, Demetri said.

I love math humor, Nate said. Alright, that's enough Demetri, Eli said. I could tell it was hurting him. Don't let that angry red hair do fool u, he's a big softie, Me, Caitlyn, and him watched every harry potter movie together and he bald like a baby when dobby died, Demetri said. Everyone was laughing at him. It reminded me of before when he was just Eli. 

Alright he doesn't shut up I'm gonna shut him up, Eli said. Remember what sensei said about showing mercy, Mitch said. He was trying so hard to hold it back. I got one more thing, have any of u heard of sleep enuresis, Demetri said. Don't, Eli begged. Wait, I yelled walking towards demetri drunk. Caitlyn what are u doing, he asked. 

I promised I would keep yall safe so that's what I'm doing, I said. I grabbed the microphone away from him. Give that back I was almost done, Demetri begged. I remember Eli calling me a slut. I shouldn't help him but I couldn't stop. 

You don't want to do it, I said. Do what, Demetri asked. No matter what Eli does to u, u always forgive him, I know deep down u don't want to do it, I said. We want to hear what he has to say, someone yelled. 

I thought to myself I have to say something better. Then he did it. Eli grabbed moon and kissed her and asked her out I gave the mic back to Demetri. I walked up to Eli looked him in the eyes. And kicked where I Knew it would hurt, Fuck u hawk, I said. Demetri finish him, I yelled.  Back to what I was saying, sleep enuresis is the medical term of course in King's English its good old fashion bedwetting and Eli here is a pro, my mom even had a special air mattress for sleepovers she called it Eli's waterbed. I could tell it was hurting him and regretted every second of it. 

Everyone was laughing until Eli yelled screw mercy ur a corpse. Ur gonna have to go through me, Chris said. Stay out of it trader, Mitch yelled. Hey, don't touch him, Robby said. Or what, Aisha said. Guys stop we're friends, Moon said. Fuck u, I yelled. I smell a rumble, stingray said. Cops, someone screamed. 

Demetri u got lucky I'll see u at school, Eli yelled. He looked different scary, and that was the last thing I remembered.
