* Chapter Two *

[Tommys POV]

I woke up on the couch leaning against Sam who was also asleep. My phone rang, who on earth is calling me now?

"'ELLO!?"

"hello tommy..." their voice was very soft and quiet 

"NIKI! how are you my friend?" I was really excited to heard from her since we have a trip planned soon 

"um, im not doing so good Tommy... we might have to schedule the trip to another day" She said with a sigh 

"oh... Its okay Niki! Just tell me when your not busy and we can hang out!" and with that she hung up the phone...

Its not like Niki to hang up without saying goodbye... Maybe she's just busy. I turned around to look out the window covered in snow, I should go see where Tubbo is! Its boring in here by myself. I grabbed a pair of unfinished boots and put them on, im sure Tubbo wouldn't mind.

As i walked out the door into the snow i heard talking from the other house, i haven't been in there yet I trudged over to the door and opened it, the talking was coming from the basement. Walking down the stairs I got greeted by Tubbo gripping my hand and dragging me into the room with them.

"Tommy look!" He said pointing at the almost fully built bombs

"Wow Tubbo! Are these the nukes" i said walking over to them before someone stood in front of me 

"yes they are, why are you down here?" Jack said raising one eyebrow 

"I'm bored, Sam is asleep and Niki isn't feeling too good so i have nothing to do" 

"You know what i think Tommy! I think you should follow me!" He grabbed my arm really tight and took me back up the stairs. 

"ow, get off me i have legs for a reason", I said wafting his hand off me

"Tommy you've been through worse, Stop complaining", he said bringing us outside the house and shutting the door 

"That's very true Jack! Some call me a hero!" I exclaimed putting my hands on my hips 

"Yeah... SOME, not all"

"what's up with you? Why have you been so moody recently?" i asked 

"Look Tommy stop asking questions and just follow me!" He pushed past me and walked over to the ice near the house. "get in." he pointed to the boat

I got in and waited for him to join me when i felt a strong push on the back of the boat sending me into the sea

"Jack i don't know how to row a boat! Why aren't you in!" by now he had walked back and i was shouting to myself... Now what?

About 10 minutes later i was still in the boat, i could still see SnowChester but i was floating further away. SHIT WHERE IS SAM!!! Jack is such an idiot, What am i supposed to do if Sam wasn't here with me.

"SAM!"   "SAM HELP MEEEE!!"  "SAAAMMMM!"  "SAMMmMmMm!"  "SAA-"I got cut off by something falling into my boat chucking me into the oars

"Sam! My friend!" i said blowing the hair out of my eyes and turning to face him

[Sams POV] 

I was having a peaceful sleep and woke up hearing someone shout my name... I couldn't tell who it was until the second scream... 

TOMMY! 

I Jumped to me feet and ran out the door not bothering to close it, 

"SAAAMMMM!" his voice was coming from the ocean... I could see a little brown blob getting slowly further away. I ran as fast as i could to the water and pulled out my trident, I pulled it back and aimed perfectly into the sky. Within a flash i was in mid air just above the boat that held Tommy in the middle... 

I fell down next to Tommy causing him to fall 

"Sam! My friend!" he said turning to look at me while blowing his hair 

"Tommy why are you in here by yourself?" I said kneeling down placing down the trident 

"well i think Jack wanted to come in with me but he got too scared and ran away" he said scratching the back of his neck "I guess he just knocked the boat when i turned around"

Jack isn't normally scared of boats... Something isn't right

"well... i guess we should just go back home" i said grabbing the oars and rowing us back to DreamSmp. Once we got back to our house i looked at the time and realised i was late for the prison! 

"Hey Tommy, I need to go check up on Dream before it gets too late so-"

"Can i come see dream please? I want to see him..." he asked while twiddling his thumbs 

"..." I didn't really want him going to see dream in case he took his last life... 

"Please Sam... I miss him." He said bringing his grey and black stripped tail in front of him

"F..." i thought about it for a second, "Fine", I said with a sigh 

Tommy's eyes lit up, he grabbed my armour and sword from the corner of the room and dragged me to the door. "THANK YOU SAM!" and with that he took my hand and ran us all the way to the prisons entry portal.

"Tommy..." i said before he got inside the portal

"yes Sam?" he replied 

I bent my knees slightly so i was making eye contact with him and put my hands on his shoulders "Promise me..." I whispered "Promise you'll be safe..."

His ears flopped down a bit with his tail as he looked over to the portal, "Don't worry Sam... He cant hurt me anymore!" He stepped through the portal that took us to the prison 

After about 45 minutes of signing books and locking doors later we finally got to the lava walls that slowly fell around dreams cell, Just before i pulled the lever i turned to look at Tommy...

"If Dream lays even one finger on you... Shout for me"
