* Chapter Ten *

[Quackitys POV]

Red vines grew from the side of the walls, quickly making their way to the group of people in front of us 

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" I shouted while holding Tommy into my chest 

"I can help him Quackity", Reds smirk grew "But we need a favour" 

"You know what?" I said showing a nervous smile, "We will see ourselves out" 
I picked up Tommy and put him on my back before turning to the stairs, I felt my breath getting heavier as I heard Tommy flinch. I turned my head around and was met face to face with Red who had his hand gripped on Tommy's shoulder. 

"Don't fucking touch him..." I swiped his hand from the small ghosts shoulder and glared at him

"I'm not going to hurt him", Red said as the small cream and brown cat boy walked over to him "Yet" 

I felt my eyes widen, I dashed down the stairs and ran to the door. It was locked... 
I quickly turned and dropped Tommy behind me making sure he wasn't in harms way, The evil group walked down the stairs and came face to face with me... I stepped back and looked at Tommy's worried face that looked back at me with water glazed over his eyes,
I don't want to see Tommy cry...

"You can't protect him Quackity..." I looked back up to Red as he was speaking

"And why not", I tried to sound intimidating but instead I sounded worried 

"Quackity, just look at yourself... your weak..." Red said with a sympathetic but evil grin on his face, "He'd probably has a better chance of getting away without you" 

I looked at Red not knowing if i was supposed to be annoyed or hurt by what he said 

"Now... do you want to choose the easy way or the hard way?" Red raised his eyebrow once again, "If you choose the hard way Quackity, someone is going to get hurt..." He walked over to me so our faces were almost touching "And its not me who's getting hurt" 

I lifted my hand and smacked him across the face as a warning to fuck off...
He was right...
I can't protect Tommy...

But I can give it a try...

"Don't fucking come near me", I said pushing him into the others. I saw the red blood vines glow a deep red and the room get darker as their faces dropped

"OH QUACKITY!" He said with his eyes widened crazily, "YOU REALLY DID TRY!" With that he sent his fist across my face sending me onto the floor 

I wiped the blood from my mouth and lifted my head to look at him "Prick". He started to laugh and kicked me in the chest...
It hurt...
a lot...

I tried to keep my eyes open and looked towards Tommy, I could practically see the anger growing inside of him... His blood boiling... 
I lifted my arm up and grabbed his hand rubbing my thumb slowly across his fingers trying to keep him calm 

I felt Bad and Red pick me up and Skeppy grab Tommy tightly by the arms causing him to wince 
"Leave him alone..." I said looking up at Skeppy "He's only a kid! Just leave him alone"

They opened the door, it was still raining a lot... "Your just a kid too Quackity" Bad said as they both dragged me outside. Skeppy and Tommy following closely behind.
About 30 seconds outside and we were all drenched... Then I heard a dreadful scream from behind us 

I turned around and saw Tommy with no protection to the rain... crying loudly in pain...
I elbowed Red in the face and violently kicked Bad so i could run over to Tommy,
I pushed Skeppy's blank face to the ground and untucked my yellow wings from my Hoodie, wrapping them around Tommy sheltering him from the rain and hugging him 

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!" I shouted while running my hand through Tommy's hair letting him cry into my chest

Red gave me a menacing look and started walking again "Fine, you walk him there" He said "But if you even THINK about running away I'll trap him out in the rain and force you to watch him" 

 I gently grabbed Tommy's hand and walked him towards our destination still wrapping one wing around him while the other dropped on the floor trailing behind us. After a minute or so I felt a tug on my hoodie "Run", Tommy said looking me in the eyes and smiling "I'll be okay... go...", He said as tears formed in my eyes 

I shook my head causing some rain to fly in different directions and smiled back,
"I told you before we came here..." I looked back up and started walking again...
"I'm never going to leave you Tommy"

The place we were heading was really far away... and my wing started to tire out, I was struggling to keep it up and was just about to put him under my other wing when i heard something behind me, I turned around only to see a small cat boy, rubbing his arms and shivering... 

"Ant?" My voice caused him to look up at me "..." 

"w-w-what d-do you w-w-want?!" He tried to look intimidating but failed to do so... 
I looked up to find Bad carrying Skeppy on his back while he was sleeping and Red slightly in front of them brushing his wet hair back... 

I stopped while they weren't looking and lifted my other wing around Ant still trying to hold the other one above Tommy

"w-what t-t-the fuck are y-you doing?" he asked looking up at me

"I don't know why they called you AntFrost... You'd neve survive in the cold" I said smiling at him, He giggled a bit but he tensed up as my wing touched him slightly "Don't worry... I have no intentions on hurting you"

I looked back up and started walking again as Bad looked back at us, I smiled at him but he looked unamused... That's not the Bad I know...
I felt Ant rubbing his head on the side of my wing and start purring... I looked over at Tommy who was giggling at Ant and smiled...

God my wings hurts...
But its for them...
