RWBY dorm, Y/n POV
I'm glad for the break; people can't ask about my arms. They are growing back slowly, but it's been a week and when I lost my hand I just needed to wait a few minutes. Maybe it's because both arms were gone versus one hand. One good thing is I've gotten better at using the red ice, and made a new potion. It didn't do anything when I drank it, but the red ice-arms melted when I spilled some. If I ever get stuck in my own ice; this potion would free me, but that would never happen.
[Boy, you're asking for problems.]
Ruby managed to somehow convince Weiss to go shopping, and Blake is in the library; so me and Yang are just sitting in the dorm. I'm not allowed to make potions with Yang anymore after "Party-3 A" was used, so many destroyed trees and dead Grimm.
"Y/n," Yang starts, "you know how you lost control fighting that maid?"
Yang POV
His grey eye just turned red before going back to normal and then he nodded. I guess he's still scared of her. Then again, if Summer acted like that lady does I'd fear her as well... or just hate her guts.
"Well, what would you do if she came back?"
"Hide until she leaves." He answers without stuttering.
"Um, that might be an issue..." I respond.
"Why would-"
Suddenly he starts coughing and grasping at his throat, a chocolate chip flies out and he stops coughing. Did he get into Ruby's secret stash without us knowing?
"Did you steal some of Ruby's cookies?"
"No... it felt like a whole cookie was in my throat, but I haven't had any for weeks."
Huh, that's weird. Choking aside, that maid said she'd be back later and that she'd bring two more people with her. When Blake asked Ozpin why he said that Y/n was getting a team, but they were going to be from his old "family". I don't think it's a smart idea, but maybe we've only seen the bad ones? Well, Marisa seems nice. However....
"Greetings agains, Miss Xiao-Long." A certain maid says as she walks into the doorway.
"Ma'am!" Y/n is immediately standing with his arms at his side, and his green eye is blue.
"I'm not here to lecture you. Your new master wishes for me to be your trainer and partner."
"Ozpin's his uncle, not his owner." I say with slight anger.
She doesn't even look at me! Instead she pulls out... wait, is that a sword? Where was she hiding that? It has a nice look though: gold hilt and stripe down the center of the white blade, and a sapphire in-between the blade and hilt.
"Princess asked me to deliver this to you," Sakuya speaks, "she says you should learn melee without relying on your aura. Your arms are a testament to that."
Y/n looks at his arms then tilts his head in confusion. I mean, she's right but he has claws and those potions! He has plenty of ways to fight without going all knife happy. Wait, I've never seen him fight without using knives or lasers.
"She has a point," I start, "you use your Aura for everything when you fight, even Bad Apple uses your Aura when you shoot lasers."
"Miss Xiao-Long is correct." Sakuya states, "if you always fight how you did against Weiss and I you will die. Lady Irene is currently waiting in our new team dorm for you to let her know you're ready to start sword practice.
