Soul Cradle, Future Princess POV
New life, but a new threat. First the invaders, then the end of the world, now a void. Y/n... we are stuck to him now, Heaven Hold's new Guardian. We won't let your world end like ours.
RWBY dorm, Ruby POV
Y/n was getting yelled at for breaking things. His apples are very fun but his newest one trapped Yang in a rock for three minutes. Okay, I have decided!
"Y/n! No more experiments without Weiss or Blake helping." I announce.
"But, it's not that bad..." Y/n quietly says but Blake cuts him off.
"Well..."
Flashback, No POV
"See Y/n, here's your scroll back, and some Hardlight dust! Am I okay now?" Yang asks the still growling cat.
"*fine, but don't steal my scroll, I have games on that.*" Y/n responds. *Soft hissing + angry meows*
Mini-skip
Y/n is seen making a new potion, with the hardlight. He had enough dust for six potions so he wanted to see what effects it would do. Mixing carrot slices and dandelion glue, he was finished the first trial bottle. Immediately he threw it at Yang's empty bed causing a transparent orange barrier to briefly cover the blanket.
When Yang went to try and sleep later, her hand got stuck to the blanket, and the blanket itself wouldn't move.
Mini-Skip
Figuring that the dandelion glue wasn't the best binding agent, Y/n replaced it with red sap. He throws it at his feet, and sees a blue/red bubble appear around him. However, Y/n blacked out into a perfect dream. Ruby came to check on him and sees him laying in a bubble purring. That potion was deemed successful and called the "Happy Sleep Prison" for obvious reasons.
Mini-Skip
Y/n wanted to make the HSP last longer, so he added some of his own fur, resulting in a rainbow liquid. When Weiss entered the room, she was instantly hit by the new concoction. She just stood in place like a statue. When asked later Weiss said she "forgot how to walk".
Mini-Skip
Not learning his lesson, Y/n tries once more to perfect the HSP. This time replacing carrots with whatever Dr. Oobleck has in his thermos. Both flammable and tasty! Yang scared him once he made it and trapped her in a stone pillar, ruining the blanket tent.
Present, Ruby POV
"*whimpering*"
Y/n is now wrapped in his blankets, since they aren't on the ceiling anymore. It was actually Weiss's idea so that he wouldn't run away. Wait, both of his eyes turned dark blue for a second.
"Okay... Blake, can you-" Y/n gets cut off by Weiss.
"No she can't, besides you should sleep. Tomorrow we are going to the docks!"
"Fishy..." Y/n has stars in his eyes.
He goes from tiger to kitten so fast, and now I want to get him fish so he does the happy cat thing. I want to pet him. Wait, a minute, did Weiss say sleep?
