Soul Cradle, ??? POV
Two of the three pieces are now in Remnant. Actually, all three are there, but where is the third? It is the only one that can be used without Y/n around.
Looks like I'll have to use my gaps to find the Realm Breaker.
Cafeteria, Ruby POV
It's been about two weeks since Y/n started living in our dorm. He's been using those black eyes to get to class faster, and is actually smarter than me! Yang has been able to get closer to him and make him not as afraid, same with Blake. But, he's terrified of Weiss. Two days ago he was eating lunch in our dorm since he can avoid girls when Weiss decided to have him sit with us and JNPR. Y/n said no and tried to leave through one of the eyes but Weiss froze him before he could leave, and dragged him by the tail out of the room.
He's agreed to sit with us, mostly scared of Weiss doing something again. But he isn't that scared of Pyrrha! Nora, though, Y/n goes into "doll mode" as I call it and doesn't move or speak unless she leaves or told to. Y/n seems to enjoy being around Jaune and Ren, mostly Ren.
Right now Y/n is in Nora's lap and whenever she isn't looking, he takes a bite of his food. I want to pet him so bad. Actually, he lets me and Yang pet him, well asks us to. He's always so shocked when we say yes. We filled JNPR in on what we know about him and they, mostly Nora, agreed to help keep him safe.
"Um... Nora?" Y/n starts.
"Yes plushy?" She replies.
By the way, Nora has started calling Y/n plushy because he's soft, and I can't really blame her.
"I need to go... to the bathroom..."
"Okay, don't get lost!" Nora says as she places Y/n on the ground.
The moment his feet touch the floor, he runs out of the cafeteria. Behind him I see someone start to chase Y/n. I better make sure he's okay.
"What'cha doing Rubes?" Yang asks me.
"Following Y/n. I saw someone following him." I reply.
"Just don't take any pictures!" She says.
"Huh?"
"Never mind."
With that I burst into petals and flew down the hall.
Y/n POV
I know someone is behind me. Judging by the heavy steps either a large man or armored woman. But I don't hear any metal, so man it is. So, I simply gap to the restroom and get in a stall.
After washing my hands I see a man standing by the door. Brown hair and eyes, and he's wearing armor. Huh, I guess I was half right. I start to walk around him and he steps on my tail.
"What're you doing here animal?" He says.
"Going to lunch... you're on my tail." I say, trying not to cry because it hurts.
"Freaks like you don't belong here." He takes his foot off my tail.
And stomps full force. What is wrong with this guy? Is he challenging me?
"Get off my tail human."
He is clearly shocked by my change of voice. Good. He swings his fist at me. Far too slowly for it to actually hit me. My grey eye is now red. I freeze time and place green knives next to his arm and leg. Unfreezing time he gets hit by all of them and falls over, freeing my tail.
"Just because I'm far weaker than my sisters, doesn't mean I am weak compared to humans. I am a Scarlet Devil."
With that said, I opened a gap to the cafeteria and limped through. My tail hurts so badly right now, if it wasn't for crazed state I would be crying. I'm probably going to cry once I sit down, since I don't want the others to see me with red eyes.
