"My whole life I was told I would never live up to anything. Told I wasn't good enough, that I was broken, or... a mistake. But,"

"But?"

"Some people saw past my flaws. They saw what I could be, not what I was. My potential, and they loved me like anyone else. I was a human to them, not some broken toy. They tried to fix me by telling me 'Bully's bully for a reason' and it sure as hell worked."

The next day was Y/N's first day at her new school. She got dressed by herself, choosing from her new variety of clothing.

Ah! This shirt is so cool, or maybe this one, no this one.

After a series of mental debate, Y/N decided to wear a striped shirt and beige pants. Her eyes seemed to sparkle looking at herself in the mirror. She walked out of the room pushing her wheelchair in front of her.

Oh I should probably save my energy for later, Y/N thought getting into the chair.

She rolled herself to the main room in the building where the older maid was, Y/N approached her, "Is the school close by, ma'am?"

"Huh- Oh L/N-chan! Yes, yes. I'll have your teacher pick you up out front."

"Oh, that guy. He's picking me up?"

"Yes, are you done getting ready? Breakfast is at the table."

"Oh, alright, thank you." Y/N finished, rolling to the table. Y/N sat next to a beautiful blonde girl she didn't recognize, "Is this seat taken?" Y/N asked the girl, already sitting.

"Of course it is." The girl replied not looking at Y/N.

Y/N was a bit shocked by the rude response and she then took a closer look at the girl, "Cleo?" She asked, aloud.

"What?" The other girl snapped, rudely.

"Oh, sorry. I just didn't know it was you." Y/N said, picking up her spoon.

"Did I ask?" Cleo said facing Y/N.

"Uhh, yeah kinda." Y/N replied.

Cleo only huffed in response. Y/N sat down disregarding Cleo's rude behavior.

"Excuse me, ma'am, may I have a bit less than everyone. Last nights dinner was a bit too much for my tummy." Y/N asked politely.

"Sure, honey." One of the ladies replied, continuing to lay down the rest of the silverware.

Y/N ate and then went to wait outside.

A car soon pulled up, the blue haired teacher got out gesturing for Y/N to get in.

"Hello." Y/N greeted, kindly.

"Morning." He replied with a smile.

Y/N's drive to school was quite exhilarating, she counted every car she saw on the way there, hummed her favorite songs, and made small talk with her new teacher. When they arrived to her new school she got out of the car hurriedly, and gasped in awe, "It's beautiful." She said aloud.

"Yup, that's Hyogo Elementary for you. Let's go in." The man said, taking Y/N's wheelchair out from the trunk of the car, wheeling it into the school.

Y/N followed after him.

"You'll be attending my second grade class. It's right over here, Y/N." He showed her to a door. The door was covered in butterflies and ladybugs, it made Y/N feel as if she was entering a mystical forest. A room full of smiling, giggling, joyful kids. It was the first time in her life she saw so many children other than herself, all drawing with colorful markers, dancing to peppy music in the background.
